You heard?Rock » 18 Sep 2020, 5:37 pm » wrote: ↑I didn't watch Biden's or Trump's but I heard that Biden got a bunch of softball questions and Trump got tough questions from a tough crowd. Doesn't surprise me. It's the same with so called journalists. They never ask Biden tough questions. If you think the mainstream media doesn't have an agenda then you're naive. Here's an example. I use AOL for my email. Nearly every time I pull up the home page there's a negative article about Trump. So the other day I went to the feedback section of AOL and read the comments. Person after person practically begged AOL to be more fair to the president, and stop the leftist agenda, and to stop with the lies they print. But AOL is like every other mainstream media outfit. They won't give the president a break. You can look for yourself.Misty » 18 Sep 2020, 2:30 pm » wrote: ↑ I'm guessing you didn't watch his town hall debate last night.
Contrary to the town hall that Trump did a few days ago, where he answered every single question by ignoring the question and talking about what a great job he's doing, Biden answered questions by citing very specific policies in great detail.
If that's what dementia looks like, I hope I get it.

From whom?
I watched them both.
They both got questions from voters, some of whom voted for Trump in 2016, and some of whom voted for Hillary.
Both town halls were balanced.
This victim mentality that Trump and his followers have is getting really old.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, he deserves the criticism that he gets?
I love how Trump followers pretend that the people who have issues with him are just being irrational.Rock » 18 Sep 2020, 6:06 pm » wrote: ↑I get that liberal journalists hate him. But I also remember that they also hated George W. Bush. Here's a challenge for you. Go check out reports about W and DJT and compare them to the puff pieces for Biden and Obama.Misty » 18 Sep 2020, 5:53 pm » wrote: ↑ You heard?

I don't remember a bunch of Republicans turning on GWB in 2004, or forming groups like The Lincoln Project or Republicans For The Rule Of Law, and running ads against Bush, do you?
There were never a bunch of whistleblowers resigning from the Bush administration and speaking out against him.
And I also don't remember any Republicans leaving the party, or speaking at the Democratic convention in 2004, and endorsing John Kerry.
You can try and put this all on the 'Liberals' but Republicans are leaving the party in droves and working to get the president from their own party out of office.
That should tell you something.
In all the years I have followed politics, I have never seen anything like it.
That's right, because a shrinking party is the goal, right?Rock » 18 Sep 2020, 6:35 pm » wrote: ↑All of these "never Trumpers" are a bunch of RINOs that we don't want in the party anyway. That's how you win elections.
So why do you suppose there are so many never-Trumpers?
I never heard of never-Bushes, or never-Obamas, or never-any other former president.

Such a **** scumbag, it makes 1 wonder what kind of self-hating **** could even vote for him!
I distinctly remember a large number of Republicans defecting and calling themselves Libertarians toward the end of Bush W’s tenureMisty » 18 Sep 2020, 8:11 pm » wrote: ↑That's right, because a shrinking party is the goal, right?Rock » 18 Sep 2020, 6:35 pm » wrote: ↑

But there was no such thing as a never-Busher when he ran for re-election in 2004.GeorgeWashington » 19 Sep 2020, 1:03 pm » wrote: ↑I distinctly remember a large number of Republicans defecting and calling themselves Libertarians toward the end of Bush W’s tenureMisty » 18 Sep 2020, 8:11 pm » wrote: ↑ That's right, because a shrinking party is the goal, right?
