McCain has a strong economic plan, the centerpiece of which so far is to slash corporate tax rates, now among the highest in the world. I don't remember a bunch of Republicans turning on GWB in 2004, or forming groups like The Lincoln Project or Republicans For The Rule Of Law, and running ads against Bush, do you?
There were never a bunch of whistleblowers resigning from the Bush administration and speaking out against him.
And I also don't remember any Republicans leaving the party, or speaking at the Democratic convention in 2004, and endorsing John Kerry.
You can try and put this all on the 'Liberals' but Republicans are leaving the party in droves and working to get the president from their own party out of office.
That should tell you something.

Obama imprisoned one and put out a contract on the other.
