I remember Kenny Rodgers when he was the lead singer for the First Edition and their big hit "What Condition My Condition Was In".

Concerning the song Ruby, I don't think some of the lyrics would be allowed today, especially with the "me too" movement being what it is. The lyrics I speaking of is when he says "if I could move I'd get my gun and put her in the ground".
