Actually, NOBODY will just "happen to find 'a dollar bill' or 'a US minted coin'" any time in the future. Our monetary system will have been carefully recorded into history, and anyone with a taste for looking back into history will be able to examine into this recorded history. And, by then, digital money will be the norm.
