...that's an issue about which smaller minds than mine can/will quibble....maybe we could let everyone choose their own $chedule...but i will let you and the rest of the republicrats quibble about that...btw, WHAT IS YOUR OPINION AS TO YOUR RELATIVELY INSIGNIFICANT QUESTION?...

[..hillbilly boy never even attempts to answer a question...even the goddamned fool questions he asks of others]
Why are you now backing away from your primary issue: "the money"? You keep bringing it up, along with your claptrap innuendos. I'm beginning to believe that you are just full of ****...

If, as you say, you are NOT "backing away", then tell us just how much "the money" will be sent to the individual by the government, and how often. You brought it up, now eat it.

Actually, not a new phenomenon...

Laura Paddison wrote for HuffPo 8 February 2019:

Tuomas Muraja’s life took an unexpected turn at the end of 2016. He received a letter telling him that he would be getting a monthly sum of €560 ($640) from the Finnish government, no strings attached, for two years.

“It was actually like winning the lottery,” said Muraja, who was one of 2,000 people randomly selected from a pool of 175,000 unemployed Finns, aged 25 to 58, to take part in one of the most prominent universal basic income trials in the world.

...“Constant stress and financial stress for the long term – it’s unbearable. And when we give money to people once a month they know what they are going to get,” said Ylikännö. “It was just €560 a month, but it gives you certainty, and certainty about the future is always a fundamental thing about well being.”

...Universal basic income is an idea that’s been swirling around for centuries and has been tried across the world. While it has come to mean many different things, in its purest definition, a universal basic income is granted to everyone, regardless of wealth, income or employment status, on an unconditional basis.

...“I loved the basic income experience”

Not "indago on Money", or anybody else "on Money"

So, don't be Whining'nSniveling when somebody puts forth to YOU: Peepee on Money, a query about "the money"...

Huey » 11 Feb 2019 8:33 am wrote:Tell you what, one trick pony. Here is the answer to the one question you always ask. After I give the answer you can STFU. Old white people at the fed get together and decide how much money is needed to sustain the economy. They either giveth or they taketh away. Once the determination is made a press of the button is done and suddenly banks have more money to spend or they don't. Thru adjustments of interest rates they also decide the cost of them money to either make it easier or harder to obtain. You may sit down know... (huey)

....congratulations!...seriously...you are the first republicrat here who has taken up my profound challenge...four stars for you for the attempt!!... ...i was hoping for some indication you understand what ellen brown talks about below...what you posted has the same feel as how the department of human services or department of education might describe themselves...but any attempt by a ?monetary newbie is appreciated!... https://www.globalresearch.ca/who-owns- ... erve/10489So let’s review:1. The Fed is privately owned
.Its shareholders are private banks. In fact, 100% of its shareholders are private banks. None of its stock is owned by the government.2. The fact that the Fed does not get “appropriations” from Congress basically means that it gets its money from Congress without congressional approval, by engaging in “open market operations.”
Here is how it works: When the government is short of funds, the Treasury issues bonds and delivers them to bond dealers, which auction them off. When the Fed wants to “expand the money supply” (create money), it steps in and buys bonds from these dealers with newly-issued dollars acquired by the Fed for the cost of writing them into an account on a computer screen. These maneuvers are called “open market operations” because the Fed buys the bonds on the “open market” from the bond dealers. The bonds then become the “reserves” that the banking establishment uses to back its loans. In another bit of sleight of hand known as “fractional reserve” lending, the same reserves are lent many times over, further expanding the money supply, generating interest for the banks with each loan. It was this money-creating process that prompted Wright Patman, Chairman of the House Banking and Currency Committee in the 1960s, to call the Federal Reserve “a total money-making machine.” He wrote:“When the Federal Reserve writes a check for a government bond it does exactly what any bank does, it creates money, it created money purely and simply by writing a check
.”3. The Fed generates profits for its shareholders
.The interest on bonds acquired with its newly-issued Federal Reserve Notes pays the Fed’s operating expenses plus a guaranteed 6% return to its banker shareholders. A mere 6% a year may not be considered a profit in the world of Wall Street high finance, but most businesses that manage to cover all their expenses and give their shareholders a guaranteed 6% return are considered “for profit” corporations. In addition to this guaranteed 6%, the banks will now be getting interest from the taxpayers on their “reserves.” The basic reserve requirement set by the Federal Reserve is 10%. The website of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York explains that as money is redeposited and relent throughout the banking system, this 10% held in “reserve” can be fanned into ten times that sum in loans; that is, $10,000 in reserves becomes $100,000 in loans. Federal Reserve Statistical Release H.8 puts the total “loans and leases in bank credit” as of September 24, 2008 at $7,049 billion. Ten percent of that is $700 billion. That means we the taxpayers will be paying interest to the banks on at least $700 billion annually – this so that the banks can retain the reserves to accumulate interest on ten times that sum in loans. The banks earn these returns from the taxpayers for the privilege of having the banks’ interests protected by an all-powerful independent private central bank, even when those interests may be opposed to the taxpayers’ — for example, when the banks use their special status as private money creators to fund speculative derivative schemes that threaten to collapse the U.S. economy. Among other special benefits, banks and other financial institutions (but not other corporations) can borrow at the low Fed funds rate of about 2%. They can then turn around and put this money into 30-year Treasury bonds at 4.5%, earning an immediate 2.5% from the taxpayers, just by virtue of their position as favored banks. A long list of banks (but not other corporations) is also now protected from the short selling that can crash the price of other stocks.

...lf's own dantev2 recently penned a beautiful thought-piece on the hideous, fraudulent nature of 'our' money system...this gets at 'the gi$t of it' brilliantly!

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=41054&p=1204982#p1204982

In the year 2032, our imaginary conversation takes place...

Privately owned central banks: We're going to lower IR's to -0.5% because the global economy is in a massive depression.

Normal, sentient person: Oh, cool. Does this mean I can borrow $1M and return $995,000 after a set # of yrs?

Privately owned central banks: Sorry, no. It's a privilege only reserved for private banks and some credit unions. BTW you typically need $10M to $30M in startup capital to finance your own bank/credit union! Good luck.

Normal, sentient person: Hmm...that doesn't seem like a "fair" or "free" market to me. How much will I have to pay to borrow $$$ for anything other than obtaining a home mortgage (that we all know are heavily subsidized)?

Privately owned central banks: Well the APR for most lines of credit is typically 14% - 20% if your credit score is amazing...otherwise count on it going beyond 25%. You can also have investors fund your business but you'll typically surrender 85-95% of the equity to them, so that's a course of action we would discourage unless you have a billion dollar idea...

Normal, sentient person: So why does a criminal bank like Chase/BoA/WF get away with "paying" -0.5% to loan the money to someone like me at 20%?

Privately owned central banks: Because the vast majority of your fellow citizens are inbred retards and low IQ cretins who allow organizations like us to stack the deck in our favor, while they bicker among themselves over trivial issues. Then there are those who actively crusade FOR our cause because they are too ignorant to understand the difference between a competitive market vs a monopoly. Case in point:
Image

Normal, sentient person: I'm not sure what to say, monsieurs and madams...although I am beset with powerless anger, I feel somewhat relieved that you have come clean so suddenly. Would you like me to keep this a secret?

Privately owned central banks: No need, a small segment of your population has known for centuries and has diligently propagated this message to no avail. You need not worry about our welfare, for we have firmly ingrained and nestled ourselves within "the system"...

Normal, sentient person: I shall take my leave.
