 chart was a projected a week out.  At that point the track was for the storm to cross Florida over Lake Okeechobee in a NW direction and head towards the Gulf.  AT THAT TIME, a week out, Alabama was projected to feel some effects.

I never said it did,  I did say early projected tracks said it did.  And the projected track of a hurricane is what decisions are based on.

Not a SINGLE NOAA map indicated that Alabama was in the path of the Hurricane...
