Trump may have broken federal law by altering Hurricane Dorian's path on a map.

From Wednesday, August 28, through Monday, September 2, the information provided by NOAA and the National Hurricane Center to President Trump and the wider public demonstrated that tropical-storm-force winds from Hurricane Dorian could impact Alabama. This is clearly demonstrated in Hurricane Advisories #15 through #41, which can be viewed at the following link.

The Birmingham National Weather Service’s Sunday morning tweet spoke in absolute terms that were inconsistent with probabilities from the best forecast products available at the time.

I LONG for the good old days when it EMBARRASSED humans to be so publicly STUPID. Rather than be embarrassed by how IGNORANT and PATHETIC they were they would NOT try to make these obviously STAGGERINGLY STUPID excises for the LIES Trump tells. By the time Trump made the claim NO ONE keeping up still thought there was ANY real chance Alabama would be effected by Dorian in any way. Treason Monkeys are not only LIARS they don't care even one BIT whether what they say is TRUE as long as it pushes the narrative they want whether it is a LIE or just something so mind numbingly STUPID it leaves the readers braincells begging for the sweet release of a coma, if it pushes the narrative they want to push they will make the claim. There is not bottom to their stupidity

NOAA staff were reportedly warned against publicly contradicting Trump about his claim that Hurricane Dorian would hit Alabama.

Staff at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration received an odd, agency-wide warning from a top official just hours after President Donald Trump sparked widespread confusion by tweeting that Alabama could be hit by Hurricane Dorian, The Washington Post reported Saturday evening.

The official's September 1 directive told employees not to "provide any opinion" and to "only stick with the official National Hurricane Center forecasts if questions arise from some national level social media posts which hit the news this afternoon," according to an email obtained by The Post.

The "national level social media posts" in question were widely understood within the NOAA to refer to Trump's tweet, one meteorologist told The Post.

But before the memo was sent out to NOAA staff, the National Weather Service's Birmingham office had already refuted Trump's tweet, clarifying that Alabama would "NOT see any impacts from the hurricane."

"This is the first time I've felt pressure from above to not say what truly is the forecast," the meteorologist told The Post.

The person continued: "It's hard for me to wrap my head around.

One of the things we train on is to dispel inaccurate rumors and ultimately that is what was occurring — ultimately what the Alabama office did is provide a forecast with their tweet, that is what they get paid to do."
So NOAA was warned not to contradict Trump's Tweets even if he was wrong.

The National Weather Service's Birmingham office had already refuted Trump's tweet before they got the memo and were thrown under the bus for it.

As usual you missed the point.
Officials at NOAA were warned not to contradict the president's Tweets, meaning that even if he had it wrong, they should not correct him.

Their job is to give us the most accurate forecast they can and to dispel any inaccurate forecasts being put out there, not to placate the **** manchild in the WH.

But they have been told that if the president Tweets out any inaccurate information to his 64 million followers, they should not correct him.

I'm sure you will say that you don't have an issue with that, and if you do say that, I call **** in advance.

There is no way you can justify that ****, but I'm sure you'll try.

Yes Huey.
It's all my fault that the 73 year old president is frantically searching for cat videos to Tweet out at midnight, and airing his list of grievances every morning on the toilet at 6AM.

You Trumpettes get more ridiculous every day with your silly defenses of the toddler in the WH.
