What does any of this have to do with capitalism??? That's government preventing the market from exacting its effect on the economy. I don't think any of you understand the terms you're using.

From soup to nuts, from inception to forever, all Wall Street firms count on the government to socialize risks, privatize profits, and bully cornered markets.
Of late, RJ Reynolds and other of Lush Rimjob's friends have been getting walloped by FREE ENTERPRISE. But capitalism doesn't take that laying down - they use their exclusive control on the mainstream media to tell lies upon lies about their competition, and they go to their bought-and-paid-for government goons to use the nanny state to protect their market.

The canard about 215 calls to the CDC regarding vaping fluid is being repeated all over the corporate media. All 215 calls traced back to RJ Reynolds. And I can prove that - or at least, you should assume that I can, rather than assume the number is accurate, representative and honest, given the billions at stake for big tobacco.

You just rant and rave about capitalism and you obviously do not understand what real capitalism is. Your view is of a perverted kind of capitalism that does not exist. Capitalists want nothing to do with the Government because the Federal Government creates a lot of regulations that make it very hard to do their work. As time has gone on the regulations strangle small business from even trying to start. Currently the regulations for all business take up a 3ft by 3ft by 4 ft with a 2 ft pyramid on top. The Fderal Government cranks out a 1/2 inch to 1 inch of regulations a month. If anybody breaks these regulations they can be put in jail. Only the big corporations can have a set of lawyers to keep them from breaking the regulations.

In a capitalist system that is not over regulated each company offers goods and services to the public. Competition between very similar products or services makes sure the companies will keep their prices low enough to make just enough money to have a decent profit. The competition also makes each company provide good products or services or people will go to the better product or service. Thus competition keeps the products, services and cost in balance. The problem only comes when a company has a monopoly of get together with the other companies and make a higher price for the product or service. AKA trusts. That is why originally monopolies were regulated and trusts made criminal. The problem today is the bureocracy is only interested in makeing more and more regulations because that is what they think their job is. The Democrats love to pass laws so that the bureaucrats can make more and more regulations. Thus killing small businesses and jobs. Of course the two laws of Obama care and Frank Dobbs is making small business keep below 50 employees and any more employees are working 29 hours or less doe to those two laws.

Nicotine itself is about as detrimental to the human body as caffeine. In fact its being studied as a treatment for several of our nastier health problems like Alzheimers and diabetes.

consider that capitalism is what capitalism does...you admitted that free enterprise is BASICALLY the same...but not the same as capitalism..so there are differences, those differences are probably small and not worthy of mention on their own..but take a look at nubers list that he posted back a page or so:
Wall street bail-outs, auto industry bail outs, corporate welfare, massive tax incentives, lobbyists being paid millions to manipulate legislation, zoning laws manipulated by corporations, manipulating markets, etc, etc, is capitalism. Sink or swim based on merit and competitiveness is a free market.

if you add up the differences and look at them all together...they are pretty massive...and worthy of note...as a matter of fact the list of differences that nuber notices is in no way complete but still complete enough to point out the fact that under the current capitalist system.....free enterprise can not exist

if you look at your history rock the socialists win when they pit socialism against capitalism....it happened in venezuela and cuba and here in the united states already...cannon and i are trying to foment the idea that though capitalism is in fact better than socialism...free enterprise will benefit the nation more than capitalism could ever dream of.

Nothing is so unmanly as pretending that a thing is not defined by what it does, partisan. Capitalism is what it is - not what you wish it were, Suzie.

Actually, capitalism IS socialism, and it also REQUIRES socialist redistribution since it works TOO well at parasitism - so well that without redistribution there would be blood in the streets.

True. It's not capitalism, any more than the monstrosity the USSR and other "communist" countries was real communism.

Both my mother and my brother quit smoking when the were in their 50's. Within 5 years, both started showing the signs and were subsequently diagnosed with crippling rheumatoid arthritis. My brother's doctor went out on a limb and shared his experiences with this phenomenon with my brother. He'd seen it quite a few times in his career. Rheumatoid arthritis is hereditary and those who inherit it will usually starts showing signs of it in their mid-thirties or even younger. The doctor was of the opinion that my brother's use of nicotine had delayed the onset as long as he'd continued smoking. He advised my brother not to pick up the habit again however, as my brother also has a history of heart disease. But that's another issue.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA… this is the way to distort when one is a dishonest piece of **** like the doooooooze.

THere you go folks. That is how this shallow little pseudo intellect works. He has no idea how much dishonesty he has revealed about himself, in that short post. Now watch him flurry to pretend that he has done some REAL thinking on the subject… while throwing a few of his homosexual fantasies to expose his weak brain. There is nothing so lamentable about being as stupid as he insists on exposing himself as being. The despicable part is the great lengths he goes to in order to appeal to being pronounced valid.

We are what capitalism created, and you have regulations because of unfretted capitalism that has failed, because capitalists have to be policed from the cradle to the grave or they would **** the American economy to death. Capitalists want everything to do with government, DC is crawling with those lobbyist bastards to rewrite regulations that favor them, that profit them, etc. Wake the **** up!! :)

The government is trying everything it can to beat up the vape industry - a free enterprise industry - on behalf of big tobacco - a wall street industry. Nothing terribly complex, here.

The problem they have is this: If the FDA takes authority over vapes, they have a small problem, since propylene glycol and nicotine are the only ingredients in e-liquid. Oh, there are some flavors, but those can - and would - be scrapped immediately, depriving the FDA of authority.

Now, if they take authority based on propylene glycol, there are thousands of products, including food stuffs and medically prescribed vaporizers, that already have that product in them. Ooops. And if they take authority based on nicotine, that would ALSO force them to regulate tobacco as "safe and effective," which cannot be done if the devil himself becomes big tobacco's advocate.

Wall Street's media has been chomping at the bit, spewing lie after lie about vaping on the "news." But the government itself is really having a tough time on this thing. What to do, what to do...
