The bands played fom 6-6 at night.  Chuck Berry played the first night from 2-5, & "It's a Beautiful Day" played the last on the morning of July 5th, after the best fireworks show the night before with tightrope walkers & trapeze artists & "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album playing.

Acts that did perform:
Amboy Dukes, Ballin’ Jack, Chuck Berry, Black Oak Arkansas, Bloodrock, Brownsville Station, Chambers Brothers, Ruth Copeland, Delaney and Bonnie, Glass Harp, It’s a Beautiful Day, Country Joe McDonald, Melanie, Potliquor, Boz Scaggs, John Sebastian, Stoneground, Ike & Tina Turner, WAR and Jimmy Witherspoon with Eric Burdon, The Stephen Stills Band.

I spent most of my days down at the river.

Jantje.. Another story. I worked for a mob guy... his name was Gus.. His brother sent him up to Maine... from Boston.
Get rid of him. He was a Hoot. By the salad bar he had a Roland keyboard.. worth a fortune..
There was never any customers ...so I would play his Roland..
Asked him one day.. Hey Gus? where in the hell did you get your triple AAA sign?
stole it he said..
What about all the beautiful flowers on all your tables?
Grave yard.. stole them... he said. LOL
one of my favorite songs. Boy could he play it on the guitar.
