I came across of a new version of this song which made me remember how much I hated it... and I still do.. lol... and I remembered this thread so other people can share my misery...

I came across this song and I remember how much I used to hate songs by this guy... I choose Jantje Smit as my name but Andre Hazes was a close second... you never heard off him in america but he is... was.. very famous over here... he died some years ago but his son in his following in his footsteps.. his songs are so depressing and tear jerking... it's in Dutch but no need for a translation.. just listen to that and look at the public... the title would be... a little bit in love...

Anyway, this is also a childhood trauma.. I remember one night.. I was about twelve/thirteen then... we were living in a flat and the people above were having a party... all night long... and they played this song over and over again.. it was impossible to sleep because of the noise... and the floors/ceilings in that flat consisted of almost a foot of reinforced concrete...

All his songs are awful but especially this one.... this song is why I'm Jantje now... that was what was playing on the radio when I was thinking of a proper screen name for the sewer.. the Dutch version of course but as I said, he's very popular in Germany too... and it's just as awful...

He starts singing at 0:40... just listen to that and look at that face... that's why I choose him as my screen name...

Another rock star wants music off Spotify in vaccines stand

Canadian Grammy-award-winning singer and songwriter, Joni Mitchell, has decided to remove her music from one of the most popular streaming platforms, Spotify.

The decision comes as an apparent protest against the service hosting a podcast by US comedian Joe Rogan, who she believes to be popularizing anti-vaccination views.

“Irresponsible people are spreading lies that are costing people their lives,” the 78-year-old rock star wrote on her website on Friday, announcing she wants “all” her music off the platform. While she didn’t specify Rogan’s podcast, the musician explained she stands “in solidarity with Neil Young and the global scientific and medical communities.”

Young has called on others to join the standoff, with the #CancelSpotify hashtag trending on social media....
