You ASSERT that the bill is "Cheese", but you only cite the qualified 17 year old conclusion of a DoJ under an ammosexual administration.Huey » 19 Apr 2021, 10:12 am » wrote: ↑ Here is a link to the page of one of the sponsors:

They go on and on about high capacity magazines. But the magic number is now 10. As stated above many, if not most semi auto sidearms come with 10 or more rounds magazines. So now the manufactures would have to retool their manufacturing process and produce 9 round magazines that firearm specific. Good luck with that.
As I said, this bill is cheese.
The entire argument from the left about gun control is very easily destroyed with one simple statistic: how many legal gun owners commit gun crime.Huey » 19 Apr 2021, 9:03 am » wrote: ↑ @Blackvegetable mark your calendar

This new piece of gun control legislation would ban the sale, manufacture, transfer, importation, and even possession of firearms magazines that can hold more than ten rounds.Gun Magazine Ban: Why It Won’t WorkHowever, the Department of Justice (DoJ) conducted a study in 2004 that concluded that such a ban actually did little to reduce gun violence.“Should it be renewed, the ban’s effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement,” the study concluded.
Even it if it passes there is no way to control the number of magazines already in circulation. Many, if not most, sidearms have magazines that hold well over 10 rounds. Additionally, if your mass shooter is a law abiding sort he will just carry MORE magazines. Only takes a second. Take the VA Tech shooter. He killed 33 and shot 17 others with two handguns.

That is it. The argument need not go any deeper than that. The only thing that more 'educated' lefties will cite is suicide. As if they care about law abiding white middle aged men commiting suicide.
But I personally think people should be allowed to kill themselves if they want, since the left has managed to make life intolerable anyway.

Do you have an argument to counter those assertion? I'll answer. Nope, you don't.
That's not an argument or evidence. There are too many in circulation

2 is irrelevant
3 is irrelevant
4 is irrelevant
There is no "Argument"..
It's just a rant.
No...that's taking the pile of **** you call an "argument" apart.

#2 is certainly relevant. Again, you are ignorant of the topic. When you buy a magazine fed semi automatic rifle it comes, in many cases, TWO magazines. And I would say most of those are between 10 and 20 rounds.
#3 is how the VA Tech shooter shot 50 people. He brought extra magazines that only take a second to change. Knock the number down to 9 rounds and that so you bring more magazines.
#4. See number 3.
If you have an argument in favor of this bill please bring it on. If not, you are trolling like yesterday and the day before. Well, most of your time here is spent trolling.
No, Dwarf..Huey » 21 Apr 2021, 7:51 am » wrote: ↑ I guess we are done on this thread. You are simply trolling. You don't have an argument.

Since you did not read the article provided I will enlighten you. The bill does not affect magazines already in circulation. If this cheese bill managed to pass all those magazines already in possession are not going to be confiscated. They just can't be sold or transferred. So the bill is cheese.
Did you say something about being irrelevant?
