The "Colt AR15 style" sporting thing is a semiautomatic variant of the M-16 - a weapon designed for combat, borrowing many principles of the original AR15 design.
Period.
Done...
Shut the **** up now.
The AR-15 Sporter-1 (SP1) is a semi-automatic variant of the AR-15 series of assault rifles. It was produced by Colt, the same manufacturer of the military M16 on the same production lines as the military rifle.[3]Huey » 23 Apr 2021, 8:09 am » wrote: ↑ Since it the Sporter it is a semiautomatic why does it have to be banned? It was not designed for the battlefield. And the models of today made by other manufacturers are not related to it and are also simply semiautomatic weapons. It must be because they are scary looking.
You are defeated by your logic which is faulty at best.

I also told you go ahead and ban the Sporter. Your illogic does not apply to today's weapons.
No, your citation proves it is a semi automatic, not designed for the battlefield.Blackvegetable » 23 Apr 2021, 8:20 am » wrote: ↑ Dwarf takes it right between the eyes from ANOTHER citation.

Why should it be banned and you use your word what was “modified”? Continuing to run from that leaves us only with the fact you do not like who buys because of what it looks like.
Put the same inner workings in a tug around rifle with a wooden stock and idiots like you find that acceptable.
I see your temper tantrum where you bumped 11 old threads was an epic fail.

1. It is a semi automatic designed for civilians.
2. You said it was modified. What was modified.
3. Today’s weapons are not part of the M16 family. No need to balm them.

Yes, it is semi automatic. WHy should it be banned. But remember, I already told you to ban it.
Today's semi automatics are not of the Colt Family. Why should they be banned?

The Rugar 556 is not of the Sporter family. The Ruger Mini is not of the Sporter family. The Rer Tactical 22LR is not of a variant of the M16. Plus, it is .22. None of those are designed for the battlefield. Why should they be banned? Speak up, Scrawny.
Dwarf,I get your argument on the Sporter although you can not tell us what was modified.
