And just so you understand the stupidity of your argument concerning the 5.56 round the Ruger min 14 fires it as well.

No, it won’t.  It will make yours weak.  The Mini-14 is a lightweight semi-automatic rifle manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co. Introduced in 1973, it is based on the M14 rifle and is essentially a scaled-down version chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO.It is made in a number of variants, including: the Ranch Rifle (a basic, civilian variant), the Mini-14 GB, and the Mini Thirty, which is chambered for 7.62×39mm. What is your argument?

My argument is that it is not a design optimized for assault. The ordinance compliments its purpose.

To further show that it is indeed a "different weapon" post the respective US sales volumes.
