I’m not going to waste my time posting the numbers but for the sake of argument I bet the answer you seek is the AR 15 style of weapon sells more.  BUT, there are multiple manufactures involved and Ruger sell a mini 14 tactical version of the Mini 14 that I posted for you.

Sales has nothing to do with design, Purpose and &unction.

I am not arguing your point.  For the sake of argument the Ruger Mini 14 does not sell as much as all the other manufactures combined.

And that has nothing to do with design, Purpose and function.  Now you are changing your argument, ST.

Come on BV why makes it “not a design optimized for assault”?and to post sales umbers which have NOTHING to do with design you will have to tell me which company that manufactures an AR style rifle.  And which model.

There are probably 100 companies that make an AR 15 style weapon.  There is one company that sells a weapon named AR 15.  There is one company the makes the Ruger Mini 14 and variants.

It is safe to say the others have a higher sales volume.
