Likewise the usa was once perfectly capable of manufacturing its own ****. 

All you have done by moving all manufacturing to China is reduce the independance of the us and increase the amount of fossil fuels burned in transportation.

I used to think I had a good laymans understanding of quarantine, why it’s used, and the utility of it.  Lately, I have been told here on this board, that mass immigration has no effect on Covid rates, that has caused me to re examine my whole understanding of the practice of quarantine.  Here is the definition

Now if a single human is infected with a contagious disease, and he is put into quarantine, it lessens the risk of others being infected.  To extrapolate that concept on a global scale, it would seem that a country being separated from other countries, in a sort of macro quarantine, would also reduce the risks of infection, no?  

Why is quarantine only effective on a small scale?  Please explain.

instinctive curiosity vs intellectual curiosity, instinctive works how and why while intellect just compares which, what, where, when, who was and is alive now or in charge of everyone from now on.
