Good for you. It is neither a "tantrum" nor an "irrational fear."  It is an expression of my (and others') rights not to be put at risk by irresponsible assholes who don't care about themselves or anyone ELSE.

Speaking of which, let's take a closer look at one of the articles I posted above as an example of the consequences to MANY because of the actions of a FEW:

When unvaxxed Scott Quiner died of COVID he was not the only victim

Scott Quiner, 56, was not vaccinated against COVID. ... he caught the disease and was hospitalized for dangerously low oxygen levels. In November, the damage to his lungs was so severe he was transferred to the ICU, where he was intubated and ventilated. His condition didn't get better. And the hospital informed his wife Anne that, under his medical care plan, they would take him off the ventilator and move him to palliative care on January 13. She went to court and won an injunction against Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids. Then she had Quiner transferred to a hospital in Houston. On January 21, he died.

what were the costs of Quiner’s decision not to get vaccinated? Who else did his decision hurt?

He paid the ultimate price And the emotional and financial cost to his family will be high. If insurance covered his hospital stay, rates will go up for their other subscribers... future patients will bear the burden. ...He tied up a hospital bed for three months.

And he did so at a time when the number of staffed beds in American hospitals is declining as healthcare workers burn out and leave the profession... by occupying a bed, he denied the space and medical services to others who... were not sick by choice.

His decision wasted the time and resources of the court ... Transferring an ICU patient from Coon Rapids to Houston (1,194 miles) cannot have been cheap.... As someone who chose not to vaccinate, it is unlikely he followed masking and distancing protocols. Who knows who he may have infected?

This tragic tale is a story of delusion from the get-go. First... the belief that Republican politicians, conservative pundits... know more about medicine than doctors do. And then the conviction a hospital was lying about the prognosis of a terminally ill patient... And ... that another hospital could miraculously cure him.

If your fear is rational, then it is your responsibility to protect yourself. Mask, lock yourself down, distance, whatever it is that you feel you need to do to feel safe.

It is an expression of my (and others') rights not to be put at risk by irresponsible assholes who don't care about themselves or anyone ELSE.

You do not have the right to force others to wear certain clothing, take drugs, close their businesses, control social gatherings, or impose house arrest.

And, if you think I'M being hard on 'em, here's the feelings of one far LESS FORGIVING:

Where have I suggested I should have those rights. Again, I don't give a **** what others wear, take, gather. I'd prefer they stay away from me, but if they don't then I'll certainly stay away from THEM.  I do believe however that elected officials and businesses DO have the right to impose mandates.

People in various areas of the world are out surviving USA citizens by simply not having an anti individual socialist styled medical system to deal with. The Amish had their best year in 2021, almost all of the Amish have zero vaccinations.
If USA had the Mexican drug store rules where people could buy medicine with out a doctor working to jack up the price of medicine or completely ban the medicine, how many life's would have been saved?
