Is it voting rights or voting laws?B.See » 05 Oct 2021, 2:49 am » wrote: ↑ In a speech as far back as April 11, 2014, President Barack Obama came right out and said what MOST of us knew to be true even BEFORE then. That voting rights are under a GOP attack.
Fact was the GOP has been attacking people's right to vote for sometime now, prior to the 2016 election, prior to the 2020 election, and continuing more in earnest now, even as we speak.
The conservative response is that the laws are necessary to address issues of "voter fraud" which in and of itself IS a FRAUDULENT ARGUMENT, created by the right in order to pass discriminatory legislation.
Nor is their attack upon the right to vote their ONLY attack upon civil rights. Because the GOP has also LONG been busy curtailing the rights of CERTAIN others as well.
APPARENTLY, if you don't see the world through their narrow minded conservatively MYOPIC point of view, you don't DESERVE rights.
WE (liberals) should be screaming, "STOP THE STEAL!"

Are either more than intellectual concepts used by biological results of ancestral progression each generation population changes people occupying space now?

The dim-0-craps want a one party country. They pretended this was about voting rights. It was about power. Everything they do is about taking away personal freedoms. A federal law will be unconstitutional. Its a state right. Centralized control is ripe for corruption like every large federal program.
Your ****, liberal mind may have you thinking "MAGATS" are wanting to change election laws, but that is not true!!!

Democrats call purging the voter rolls of dead people, move-outs, and those who haven't voted for 20+years "voter suppression", when in reality, it takes away their ability to VOTE FOR ALL THESE KINDS OF PEOPLE in order to win elections!!NEILCAR » 08 Apr 2022, 6:54 am » wrote: ↑ The only reason someone is against voter ID is because they intend to cheat...
At some point in time, you must be able to prove that you live in the precinct you wish to vote in, and that you are a US Citizen.
In my state every high school kid knows where to get a ID and they are willing to go there (even on their birthday) fill out a form, pay money, take a test and get a drivers license... Every high school kid knows this.
In the 21st Century getting a ID is really not that hard. It is just a dem excuse to cheat.

Why do you goddamn ****, liberal idiots have a problem with proper IDs required to vote? Does that make it too difficult to commit voter fraud?B.See » 08 Apr 2022, 11:45 am » wrote: ↑ Nearly 25,000 mail-in ballots rejected in March 1 Texas primary, mostly due to new election law
The first vote conducted under requirements of the new state law saw a rejection rate of 12.4% of ballots mailed to elections offices, a trend AARP Texas director calls “deeply troubling.
”AUSTIN — The Texas Secretary of State issued a report Wednesday indicating that nearly 25,000 mail-in ballots were rejected during the March 1 primary, sharply higher than rejections recorded in prior elections.
The major increase in the number of rejected ballots stems almost entirely from new mail-in ballot identification rules from a controversial election law enacted earlier this year. Before the law, election officials typically saw rejection rates hovering near 1%.
In total, 24,636 ballots were rejected across Texas. Of those, 14,281 were Democratic ballots while 10,355 were ballots for the Republican primary. About 3 million ballots were cast in the primaries.

Texas Sen. Beverly Powell explains why she stopped reelection bid | Fort Worth Star-Telegram
The outcome of the Senate District 10 election was predetermined after the latest redistricting cycle, Texas Sen. Beverly Powell said hours after announcing her withdrawal from the November general election.
Powell, a Burleson Democrat and first-term state senator, is suspending her campaign for the North Texas district and withdrawing her name from the ballot. Her exit sets up an all but certain victory for state Rep. Phil King, a Republican who won his primary in March and is set to appear on the November ballot.
In an interview with the Star-Telegram, Powell said she would have stayed in the race were it not for the new boundaries that she and others argue in a federal lawsuit are racially discriminatory, dividing Tarrant County’s Black, Latino and Asian voters.
