If he is ever under oath, my guess is there will be two consistent answers, along the lines of;
1 - I exercise my protection under the 5th Amendment and refuse to answer on the grounds that my answer may tend to incriminate me.
2 - I do not recall.

Cheney said the committee's investigation has found he had "substantial advanced knowledge of the plans for January 6th, and likely had an important role in formulating those plans."
If they have evidence they don't need his testimony. And if they released that text why not release some of this alleged evidence to support advance knowledge of Jan 6th?
