no no.. Bob tipped it over.. cause he was just STOOPID.. He went up the lawn with a load of wood in the wagon the wrong way.. gees-us.. i watched in horror as i thought it was gonna kill em. actually that was what started the lawn mower smokin... and it never burned off like you tube said!

the paper clip sticks into the lead away from the seat. If you wish to play it safe get a voltage or ohm meter to see if it is just a grounding circuit or has battery on it.
Like pasta said, the switch is there as a safety feature so the tractor doesn't keep running if nobody is on the seat. you fall off or turns over on you you have to use the key to stop the motor.
