Heavy duty military weapons? Zip ties and flag poles? The military style dress can be purchased at any surplus shop, not a yuge mystery there either. Only one person was shot that day, an unarmed female veteran killed by a DC cop with a long record of incompetence. Y'know, there's been a few movies that sort of touched upon what we're seeing irl today. I think Rolling Stone did an article (back near the start of Trump's maladministration) citing about a dozen movies that even grazed the surface.
But if only SIX years ago, a director had produced a movie in which a sitting 'resident (in Trump's case) and Republican office holders in red states and in Congress, plotted a coup and incited an insurrection against democracy, most viewers would've expected that movie to end in some hard JAIL time for the ringleader and his co-conspirators (if not WORSE).
Doubtful the plot of ANY such movie would've included a political party and congressional lawmakers DEFENDING the insurrection AFTER the fact, calling it "legitimate political protest" or that most of their constituency would be on BOARD with the act, or that the HEAD PERPETRATOR IN CHIEF would STILL be running free, trying to INCITE MORE OF THE SAME -

Appreciate your thoughts on the subject, Razoo. There is some thoughts among the left as to whether indictment and prosecutions would be a wise move to make. Is there a chance of a Federal Grand Jury Indictment? As someone who has no legal background I WOULD SAY YES. Some perjury........who knows for sure?
Circumstantial and Hard evidence = I would say some of both.
Jan 6th was well orchestrated, some of the people were trained, people's lives were threatened big time, of course we know some employees died and/or were seriously injured.
Does Trump have the credentials to train......NO. Does one of his advisors who more than once claimed to be an advisor........... yes that would be Erik Prince. Is Prince a person of interest? No clue.
Because failure to do so would send the message that Trump (and others who'd do likewise) is above the law.
Though frankly, I personally think Garland is just scared ****.

Donald Trump is not on the ballot for the November midterm elections, but that has not alleviated the United States Department of Justice's reluctance to indict him for one or more crimes that he is alleged to have committed during and after his White House tenure.
On Thursday, ex-federal prosecutor Shan Wu explained in The Daily Beast why adhering to the so-called "60-day rule" is unjustified and pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland to pursue Trump.
"To start with, Garland and the DOJ need to tell the American public that no such rule exists. That’s right—the rule doesn’t exist. It’s the DOJ’s equivalent of an urban myth. No actual law or written policy at the DOJ mentions anything about not doing anything within 60 days of anything vis-à-vis criminal charges, involving elections," Wu wrote.

Numerous legal analysts and experts are sounding the alarm, INDICT TRUMP'S *** NOW, there ALREADY ARE sufficient enough CRIMES, to prosecute him, even WITHOUT those stolen top secret documents he (and his side pocket judge) have and ARE CONTINUING to compromise America with, and still America waits.
Maybe he's thinking doing so now would fuel MAGA turnout at the polls come the midterms.
