I've taken it 4 times. The first time in January 2021 for suspected COVID symptom. Then 2 times as prophylaxis before air travel and a cross-country drive. Most recently to knock out a cold two weeks ago - nasty continuously running nose and constant blowing - that was completely gone the day after I took it.
Picked up the cold in a degenerate motel, so being so public it might have even been Omicron, since the symptoms are the same.
But then I'm only 71 and in fair health, so I don't have much to fear.

Vets have been using gut parasite posions for centuries. Anti-Bacterial drugs have been successful for about 90 years-but that's changing as more drug resistant bacteria evolve. Anti-Viral drugs only about 70 years-since the polio vaccine was developed in the 1950s. The vet prescribes ivermectin for my dog's pin worms. Covid19 is a viral infective and not a gut parasite.

ivermectin does have a place in medicine. Yes, perhaps millions of doses on ivermectin have been prescribed for tapeworm in humans. Any evidence of viral cure is because the ivermectin kills the parasite that is hosting the virus. As the parasite floods the body with virus created internally in the parasite and the body reacts with infection, it can appear to directly fight the virus when it kills the parasite.The medicine is ineffective when the human body is the host of the virus.

Lysol spray disinfectant and any number of poisons kill the covid19 virus in vitro. Don't take bleach or the many other agents known to kill the virus in vitro as it is poisonous. Ivermectin can be poisonous if taken in large quantity.
If ivermectin was effective in killing virus, in would be used to cure pneumonia, common cold, and many rhino viruses. It's not used because it does not work to kill virus in the human body cells.
