Then you would be able to show how downturns in Venezuela occurred following whatever policy you claimed we "bullied" them with.  But you can't.  The downturns occurred and continue to occur immediately following the conversion to socialism.  If socialism were somehow superior as you claim it wouldn't need capitalism at all.  The mere presence of socialism would result in the VAST wealth possessed by Venezuela to be distributed throughout the population and they would be the richest nation on Earth with the highest standard of living.  Yet they can't afford toilet paper to wipe their arse, or even get a drink of water from a rain barrel because under socialism this is stealing from the property of the government.
