"Indiana life insurance CEO says deaths are up 40% among people ages 18-64
By Margaret Menge

We are seeing, right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business – not just at OneAmerica,” the company’s CEO Scott Davison said during an online news conference this week. “The data is consistent across every player in that business.

"huge, huge numbers,” and that’s it’s not elderly people who are dying, but “primarily working-age people 18 to 64” who are the employees of companies that have group life insurance plans through OneAmerica.

And what we saw just in third quarter, we’re seeing it continue into fourth quarter, is that death rates are up 40% over what they were pre-pandemic,” he said.

“Just to give you an idea of how bad that is, a three-sigma or a one-in-200-year catastrophe would be 10% increase over pre-pandemic,” he said. “So 40% is just unheard of.”

“primarily working-age people 18 to 64” who are the employees of companies that have group life insurance plans....."

"Most of the claims for deaths being filed are not classified as COVID-19 deaths, Davison said."

What the data is showing to us is that the deaths that are being reported as COVID deaths greatly understate the actual death losses among working-age people from the pandemic.

hospitals across the state are being flooded with patients “with many different conditions,”

But the majority of ICU beds are not taken up by COVID-19 patients – just 37% are, while 54% of the ICU beds are being occupied by people with other illnesses or conditions.

Interesting.

We also have a separate report from "lifesitenews" distorting the very same source comments.

From the link:

"The CDC weekly death counts, which reflect the information on death certificates and so have a lag of up to eight weeks or longer, show that for the week ending Nov. 6, there were far fewer deaths from COVID-19 in Indiana compared to a year ago – 195 verses 336 – but more deaths from other causes – 1,350 versus 1,319."

The author is a moron.

1) it's "versus"

2) A year ago TOTAL deaths were 1,655 (1319+336). This year there are 1545 (1,350+195). Unless you are
@Vegas  , this CANNOT represent a 40% yoy INCREASE.

(For those to whom this needs be explained, and you know who you are....this is because this year's number is SMALLER than last year's..

Now nod)

The comparison is not to the prior quarter, it is to "pre-pandemic".
The numbers being compared to pre-pandemic is not an actual diagnosis of covid, Petunia.

I know that science is hard (for you). For example, YOU believe that science presents an infinite number of sexes  - all on a sliding scale, with change for a dollar.

But that's not REALLY because science is hard. It's because you're stupid.

That's right. It isn't about COVID deaths any more than cancer deaths or heart attack deaths. It is ALL CAUSE mortality, and it is accelerating even though the leaky, variant-creating, non-vaccines - that don't prevent becoming infected by or transmitting the virus - were supposed to save us.

I can't fix the fact that reporters are all a bunch of incompetent drunks whose reportage leaves much to be desired - any more than you can fix the fact that NPR and PBS confirm the story and the CDC's numbers confirm the 40% number.

Why do you believe continuing to misrepresent the source comments changes any of the math, or the fact that the guy is SPECIFICALLY talking in the context of Covid?

The fellow quoted is very clearly speaking about all deaths. He's an insurance CEO, speaking about his industry. His comments are not political. They are not in reference to Covid. They are in reference to specific quarters, and YOY numbers.

I have misrepresented nothing - I leave that to you, a dying fruitcake, and snopes, a dead fake-source.

Perhaps if, instead of sucking spam cock, you had read your own citation, you wouldn't be reaching for the holy water mouthdouche......again.

Davison said death rates among working age people – those 18 to 64-years-old – are up 40 percent in the third and fourth quarter of 2021 over pre-pandemic levels....

He said the data shows COVID deaths are greatly understated among working age Americans....

“Whether it’s long COVID or whether it’s because people haven’t been able to get the health care they need because the hospitals are overrun, we’re seeing those claims start to tick up as well,” he said.

Because of this, insurance companies are beginning to add premium increases on employers in counties with low vaccination rates to cover the benefit payouts.

Isn't it funny how the same people who want to give Pfizer a pass for all of the non-vaccine deaths and permanent disabilities, while excusing away Pfizer's hiding of vaccine their trial data for the next 55 years, suggest that Pfizer wouldn't want to hurt their reputation by producing a harmful product. This even though Pfizer has been found guilty of crimes against humanity and many other crimes in the past, but still continue on, because the same caliber of morally bankrupt people ignore Pfizer's criminal history.
Are those that get the "jab" even aware of Pfizer's history of criminal conduct?

The same corporate reprobates that were responsible for determining the "safety" of the non-vaccines are the same corporations that stand to profit from them while enjoying complete exemption from liability. No formula for disaster there, eigh?

These same idiots will run out and take Merck's new (cancer causing?) 30% effective COVID drug without hesitation, in spite of the half a million people Merck killed (though likely many more) with VIOXX.

Yet without hesitation these same blind fools defame the CEO of a $100 billion insurance company that has been around since 1877 for simply presenting an actuarial.
