Gays before the 1970's had little to do with fashion. Those that were in the business were nearly all in the closet. Manufacturers sold what people wanted, as they always did. The 1960's were undeniably tumultuous, because of the unwinnable and eventually despised war in Vietnam and the Civil Rights Movement.
The 1950's were essentially a decade of Cold War fear and  societal boredom.

There was nothing wrong with it.  They took a break at halfway because it was not a season points paying race, there were  no pits due to the size of the track, so they gave the teams an opportunity to make adjustment.  Additionally, that is a brand new car design, first time under race conditions.

Plus, the people in attendance enjoyed it.

Most of the fans I saw looked disinterested.  Plus, they had to pipe in fake audience reaction.  

On top of that, they got more conservative toward the end of the race.  No team wanted to waste parts or mess up its car.

I am not suggesting that rappers or NASCAR races be abolished. If people think they are entertaining, they should have the right to watch them.
I merely wish to express my opinion that the (1) NASCAR races that I saw last night, while I was watching Brent of Half *** Kustoms work on his rat rod on Youtube and do a crossword puzzlw while waiting for the Simpsons, was far more boring that I thought was possible and that rap in general is rhythmic bitching and unworthy of my time. I saw the guy rapping, but I had the TV on mute.

A disc jockey is not a genre,

Lots of bad people in the hall.  It's more about selling tix.

aren’t there any sound engineers in the rock and roll hall of fame?

Do sound engineers also make their own music from their mixing and sampling? Something like playing a record backwards and scratching? Or do they just mix what they’re given?
