I decline the challenge. I remain 100% certain that you are offended by speech. No, we are all subject to be offended by speech - and rightly. It is words that convey ideas, words that motivate action, words that give men wives and children, words that send men to their deaths, words that make men to deserve or not deserve those deaths. 

My declintion to put up with cum mouths does not reflect any enmity for the First Amerndment; indeed, I find that implictation profoundly, almost unplumbably shallow. My refusal to give ear to verminous discharge simply reflects mature discernment and a firm commitment to not put up with that which ought not be put up with. I am not a homophobe. I was pro-gay rights for decades - right up until my side won. Indeed, I chided many a conjob on this board for being a homophobe. If you look at my avatar, you will see the legend, "98% macho man." That is from a contempornaneous jibe I once made at a fellow who called me a *** for arguing in favor of gay rights. I retorted, "I have bedded more than a hundred women, and I have only ever sucked two dicks. How can you call me gay? By my math, I am 98% macho man - only 2% sugar britches."

My opposition to the gay agenda is political, and principled - not based on squeamishness or esthetics. I have often praised gay men as the truest of Christians, for taking the Golden Rule to its logical extreme:

"I hate dicks, but I love blowjobs, and I love Jesus! Now, put it in my mouth - I have to do unto you as I would have done unto me!"

If you wish to sneeringly project that my motives are compensatory, you do so at the cost of your own credibility. There is no cheese down that hole. But it is the more traveled, more prefered route that most homophiles take, as they know their case is weak on its merits, so they need to attack the person rather than the issues - and they gigglingly assume that attacking with sexual sneers is powerful (entirely incognizant of the irony of using gay innuendo to defend gay rights).

I oppose the gay agenda for reasons that SHOULD be obvious. You DO have the sense to see that the gay agenda has prevailed, do you not? It could be argued that the gay agenda prevailed in 1979, when a gay couple adopted children. It could be argued the agenda previled in 1997, when gays became protected under federal hate crime laws. It could be argued that the gay agenda did not truly prevail until 2010, when the supreme court made it permissible in all 50 states for gays to engage in unholy matrimony. That is my personal demarcation - 2010, when they got the right to marry in all 50 states. That was the win. And it was shortly after winning that I switched sides - pulled a West Virginia, by God. 

Tell me: Do you, personally, think that the state of the union has improved in the wake of the gay win - or gone to ****? We can get to correlation vs causation, but first things first. We can at least agree where we agree, before exploring our disgreement. 

So - the past 12 years. Has social cohesion improved? Is America a better place?
