Perhaps we should focus on STEM and not identity politics, social justice and gender delusion? We spend more tax money per student than any other nation in the world yet routinely finish in the mid 20s in proficiency in math and science. We can do better.

The two ideas are connected even if you can't comprehend it or admit it to yourself. Most that rail against public education place the blame SOLELY (100%) on the teacher. Well, for those of us who have kids and/or have the left house since 1970... we also know that there are many factors at play in a student's performance. One of them is the parents. If parents do not care.. it is highly unlikely (data proves this) that the student will care and therefore perform highly. I do not buy into the idea that they are being brainwashed especially in the lower grades (K, 1, 2, 3, and 4). Why? Hmm... I am married to a teacher and have been since 2009. I know what she teaches. Tell me how the area of a triangle is brainwashing someone to be a liberal.. I know that you do not have the courage to honestly answer that.

Well, you have posted nothing to refute this claim. Your focus is purely on the teachers... conveniently leaving out the other factors that us in the real world already know about.. technology, parents, society, the students themselves.

"Earlier this week, the man who's been widely credited with single-handedly willing the "critical race theory" panic into existence (even if the truth is a bit more complex), laid out a new set of marching orders for the right: Defund public universities, discard academic freedom, remove credentialing requirements for K-12 teachers and generally foster so much anger against public schools that it drives a nationwide popular movement to privatize education. 

The man in question is Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, a conservative think tank. Since he helped elevate CRT into a national culture war in 2020, Rufo has frequently been cast (or cast himself) as the new master strategist of the right, playing three-dimensional chess as he lays out his battle plans publicly and counts every media mention of them as a win.

In the spring of 2021, he famously crowed on social media that he'd "successfully frozen" the CRT "brand" as the overarching ideology behind almost everything conservatives dislike. This January he tweeted about his new goal to "bait the Left into opposing [curriculum] 'transparency,'" in order to trigger conservative suspicions that public schools have something to hide."

Removing credentialing requirements for 12-12 teachers?? Why? you may ask.  Maybe it has something to do with their plan to have taxpayer paid vouchers so parents can squirrel their kiddies away at private "institutions" full of UNQUALIFIED AND UNCERTIFIED housewives / "teachers" ... and where, incidentally, no one has to take an end of year test to prove they've actually LEARNED anything.

While I was vacationing this past week (as I'm wont to do on occasion) I was still gathering up articles of the **** known as the Republican Party... hundreds of them. Particularly, a spate of articles documenting the relentless and increasingly bizarre assault upon our nation's schools and educators. 

An attack that, on the one hand, seeks to obstruct all efforts at a safe return to a classroom environment or, at least, measures aimed at reducing the spread of a pandemic STILL with us and still killing thousands, while on the other hand, threatening teachers and administrators as to what can and can't be taught, with new laws limiting curriculum (that the right doesn't want taught) and calls for monitoring, policing, reporting and even prosecuting those who the new reich may deem to be "subversive."

Hence reports now of a mass exodus of educators, which I figure would serve the haters right anyway. You don't want to practice safe practices that might protect your OWN kids? and want to dictate what can't be taught? Then stay your *** home and school your OWN progeny (the ones you can't wait to send back to school even thought they're your OWN).  That way you can sufficiently keep them as ignorant of unwanted truths as you want.

Or maybe send them to a private institution that'll kowtow to your academic wishes, that'll probably be staffed by soccer moms with nary a certificate in education, not that anyone would KNOW any difference anyway since most of them don't participate in end of year standardized testing that'd reveal how little they know.

That way they too can grow up to become productive citizens who'd be dumb enough to fall for some **** like 7 million more votes for the other guy were fraudulent because YOUR moron LOST.
