The FASCIST MAGGOT REICH now wants teachers to 'turn in' their OWN children.  NEWSFLASH, assholes. If YOU need a teacher to tell you WHO YOUR OWN CHILDREN ARE THEN AS A PARENT, YOU'RE ****.

New Hampshire Republicans push bill requiring public schools to 'out' trans youth to parents

The New Hampshire state senate has pushed forward a concerning “parental rights” bill which, like much of the legislation with the same title, is really a lightly veiled attempt to stomp out LGBTQ+ youth.

In this case, House Bill 1431 establishes “fundamental” parental rights to “direct” the education of their children, arguing that parents must have access to information about the education, health, and “well-being” of their children, as covered by New Hampshire Public Radio.

This explicitly offers parents the right to dictate the “moral” and “religious training” for their child, which puts a whole lot of pressure on schools to basically report every little thing conservatives could get upset about.

In reality, this legislation is trying to bar LGBTQ+ youth (or even allies) from being able to talk to school staff, like teachers and guidance counselors, about their identities.

If young people are afraid of being outed to their parents or guardians, they could stop confiding in school staff, potentially leaving them even more isolated and vulnerable than they already are.
And because conservatives love to punish people, the bill also wants parents to be able to hang disciplinary action over the heads of school staff who suggest students withhold information from their parents

a.k.a. more gestapo NAZI ****.

MEANWHILE, THE RESISTANCE:

‘There’s no way to hide history’: Teachers react to Georgia law limiting discussion of race

‘Not something you can be proud of’: Students take a stand after school cancels annual diversity day

Experts tell House panel that freedom of speech is under attack in public schools - Raw Story

Students and teachers told U.S. House members during a Thursday hearing that their right to talk about race and LGBTQ+ issues in public schools is being silenced due to an onslaught of new state laws as well as pressure on school boards from right-wing advocates.

“To be crystal clear, this is about disrupting and destroying public education,” James Whitfield, a former principal in Texas and one of the witnesses, told lawmakers.

Mellen School District votes to prohibit race from being discussed during American history lessons – Ballotpedia News

The Mellon School Board in Wisconsin voted on April 20, 2022, to adopt a new policy to prohibit race from being discussed during American history lessons. This decision follows a vote in March that barred subjects such as critical race theory, religion, sexual orientation, privilege, empathy, and political orientation from being taught in classrooms.

According to the survey conducted by Mellen School District, 72% of responders opposed teaching sexual orientation; 73% opposed teaching gender identity; 66% opposed teaching critical race theory, and 68% opposed teaching white privilege. Conversely, 64% of responders support teaching empathy, 58% supported teaching inclusion, and 56% support teaching anti-racism.

The Republican education culture war had a lot of losses on Tuesday

Right-wing attempts to take over school boards in Durham, North Carolina, and in several New York counties largely failed in elections Tuesday. The losses come amid Republican efforts to turn the existence of public education itself into a culture war using racism, LGBTQ kids, and pandemic safety measures as their weapons—and as Democrats fail to push back aggressively to protect the values under attack or to capitalize on what could be a winning issue.

Notice that NONE of the people who are complaining about the failure of the INNER CITY EDUCATION SYSTEM are honest enough to mention that trying to teach ****** how to read, write and do arithmetic is much more difficult than trying to teach the more intellectually evolved races.

Particularly, a spate of articles documenting the relentless and increasingly bizarre assault upon our nation's schools and educators.

An attack that, on the one hand, seeks to obstruct all efforts at a safe return to a classroom environment or, at least, measures aimed at reducing the spread of a pandemic STILL with us and still killing thousands, while on the other hand, threatening teachers and administrators as to what can and can't be taught, with new laws limiting curriculum (that the right doesn't want taught) and calls for monitoring, policing, reporting and even prosecuting those who the new reich may deem to be "subversive."

Hence reports now of a mass exodus of educators, which I figure would serve the haters right anyway. You don't want to practice safe practices that might protect your OWN kids? and want to dictate what can't be taught? Then stay your *** home and school your OWN progeny (the ones you can't wait to send back to school even thought they're your OWN).  That way you can sufficiently keep them as ignorant of unwanted truths as you want.

Or maybe send them to a private institution that'll kowtow to your academic wishes, that'll probably be staffed by soccer moms with nary a certificate in education, not that anyone would KNOW any difference anyway since most of them don't participate in end of year standardized testing that'd reveal how little they know.

That way they too can grow up to become productive citizens who'd be dumb enough to fall for some **** like 7 million more votes for the other guy were fraudulent because YOUR moron LOST.

end of rant.

A a primary schoolteacher has between 20 and 30 students, and those students each have at least two parents. A teacher in intermediate school has five different classes, each with 20 to 30 students, so there are 100 to 150 parents.

So how is it that the teacher is supposed to teach each student exactly what the parent want them taught?
This has not a goddamned thing to do with micro management, and not much to do with politics, either.

Teacher never forget that they are not the parents of their students, that is absurd.
