He was an ok guy. Sold it to us for $400 and it seemed to run fine at first. Took 2 more years to unceremoniously dump his daughter. Still, much like most people.. early 20's were an experiment in how to **** myself over as many ways as I couldCannonpointer » 04 Apr 2022, 3:07 pm » wrote: ↑ Sounds like pa in law was a prick bastid.

Okay . . . at first sight you do seem to have a point there !Skans » 04 Apr 2022, 12:44 pm » wrote: ↑ And, you were one of those who liked to point out that he was constantly begging for money, so I would think money must be a factor.
Yes, when a body is available. The soul needs a place to wait. Mother cow the Holy gives us that.
You sure about that ?
I drive a prius and am well satisfied with it over all. If I could go back in time, I'd likely drive Volvos.JinnMartini » 04 Apr 2022, 5:02 pm » wrote: ↑ You sure about that ?

By the way, I once owned a Ferrari Testa Rossa . . . the most **** car I've ever owned !
You won't believe what was behind the looks !
The interior was held together and in its place by staples and double-sided duct-tape !
Totally worthless.
-------------------------------------------------------
But it did have a lot of girls drooling to get in it . . . they even fought to be the one I drove to college !
--------------------------------------------------
Few years after that I had a Bentley !
That was some car, I tell you !
Probably the best car I've ever had.
-----------------------------------------------------
Now I don't drive anymore since the last 10 years or so, so I don't have a car.
My wife has . . . and she's less demanding.
She has a Renegade to go shopping and back home.
Like 20,000 miles a year at most.

They only do a production run of a book if you pay up front for books. Since she is selling both hardcover and paperback, she really blew out the budget on book printing.
Guess what. You paid for a couple thousand copies of Commie Slayer's book. $32.50 hardcover, $15.95 paperback.
Ignorant white trash hicks wanting TV time would burn it all down in an attempt to bury all the evidence of his trashy ignorance & NAZI book burning behavior. Oh, come now! I don't hate everything. Here's a list of things I likeCannonpointer » 04 Apr 2022, 2:17 pm » wrote: ↑ Not to my knowldge.
I'm not trying it - you try it.
You won't like it - you hate everything.
So, are you saying he's "sexy"?
I don't. I hate fish - took me my entire childhood to realize this. But, for the mere fact that I can't stand the taste or smell of fish, I gave up fishing. Why kill what you despise eating. And, before you go there, Jinn, no a fresh white one (and you do know what I mean) doesn't smell like fish!JinnMartini » 04 Apr 2022, 4:30 pm » wrote: ↑ Okay . . . at first sight you do seem to have a point there !
At first sight !
But I see his "begging" more like fishing !
You won't miss a meal if you catch none . . . but if you do catch some . . . who doesn't like fresh fish ?
-----------------------------------------------
And you definitely won't go fishing as long as your other activities demand your full attention.

Raising 5 or 6 kids is no joke this time and age.
Especially if home education is their goal . . . like she repeatedly stated in that interview !
I just used fishing as an euphemism.Skans » 05 Apr 2022, 8:02 am » wrote: ↑ I don't. I hate fish - took me my entire childhood to realize this. This is why it is wrong to eat the cow. The cow is holy. It gives the soul a place to rest.jerrab » 04 Apr 2022, 9:44 pm » wrote: ↑ when it is time we will come back and hopefully be better.

You know what, last time I was in some outdoors store, I caught myself looking at all of the fly fishing gear - some serious craftsmanship goes into some of that stuff. Thought to myself, "this could be fun". But, then I remembered, the ends - eating fish, just doesn't justify the means. There are some fish I can eat if I must like Dolphin (I refuse to call it Mahi Mahi) and even some cuts of Tuna. But, even the non-stink fish that I can tolerate never fills me up and never gives me that "I'm in freaking heaven" sensation that I get when eating a well prepared cut of steak.
It is fascinating what folks find tasty and what they find repugnant. I am pretty omnivorous... only real no go is raw cabbage. Otherwise, I am ok with everything else. It probably helps that I have no sense of smell.Skans » 06 Apr 2022, 2:55 pm » wrote: ↑ You know what, last time I was in some outdoors store, I caught myself looking at all of the fly fishing gear - some serious craftsmanship goes into some of that stuff. Eating fish is like eating a diet chocolate bar - some will make me wretch and spit it out, and others I can choke down, but will leave me completely unsatisfied and will probably give me the runs later on.
