I am an FDR democrat, by political persuasion. Never have I felt more vindicated for my respect of government's necessity and efficacy than when crossing the divide one winter's night in an F250 pulling a 30 foot travel home on a 5th wheel that I had installed in my pickup bed. Long story short, I NEEDED to get across the pass, and I was right behind a county snow plow in the mesmerizing blizzard, keeping my eyes on his lights. Had he gone over the cliff, I'd have followed - I as driving snow blind.impartialobserver » 31 Mar 2022, 3:11 pm » wrote: ↑ You are one of maybe 5 people that I have encountered... in person or online who knows where this place is. Will make it short but spending summers there changed my perspective on everything. When people say "middle of nowhere".. I walk away and laugh. They have not seen middle of nowhere until they have been here. Exception would be Alaska of course.
I could be wrong but were you driving on highway 93 from missoula to Salmon, Idaho? If so, we would get our huckleberries to the west of Conner (south of Hamilton).Cannonpointer » 31 Mar 2022, 3:27 pm » wrote: ↑ I am an FDR democrat, by political persuasion. I thought to myself, I'm glad I have always barbecued conjobs for generalizing that government is the problem not the solution. No nuance, these simpletons. Government can be and often is both. But we need it. So we should do our best to keep it functional and make it better if we can.
Then you've never eaten grilled WHITE asparagus dipped in a dressing of lemon + four-season grind pepper + Iranian pink mine-salt + a little of cinnamon . . . with home-baked bread.impartialobserver » 31 Mar 2022, 3:00 pm » wrote: ↑ ... quite possibly the perfect plate of food along with asparagus and mashed potatoes.

@impartialobserver can't acknowledge why KFOLS is asking for money "79.00" to be exact.
Seems impartial is "aloof" to the situation.
