I can't disagree with that. That's the kind of "out of the box thinking" this nation needs!DeezerShoove » 07 Apr 2022, 11:10 am » wrote: ↑ I think there should be a bounty on the gang members. Not a law AGAINST killing the pricks.
Also, their "statistics" should be a tally separate from human beings killing each other.
Why muddy the waters?

Basically an incident that clearly illustrates the utter ineffectiveness of most gun control laws. When one is willing to violate the law, the law will not affect them.

I'm seeing more online lately.Skans » 07 Apr 2022, 9:07 am » wrote: ↑ Shhhhhh!(gonna have to order a couple more boxes of this stuff!)
Maybe impressive . . . but IMO too cumbersome.
I've noticed that too - ammo is becoming more available. I was even able to buy a box of 350 22's in Walmart the other day.Squatchman » 07 Apr 2022, 9:04 pm » wrote: ↑ I'm seeing more online lately.
Range ammo too. And it seems to be dropping in price a touch.
I find it weird that .22lr is hard to get.Skans » 07 Apr 2022, 9:05 pm » wrote: ↑ I've noticed that too - ammo is becoming more available. I was even able to buy a box of 350 22's in Walmart the other day.

Trying to find a box of CCI stingers around here is like looking for the Holy Grail.
I know a lot of people shoot 22 to keep up muscle memory but it isn't the same.
Nope.Taipan » 07 Apr 2022, 10:02 pm » wrote: ↑ When Joe took office the GOP cons bought-up a zillion bricks of ammo.
With good reason.
The availability will come back. Here is why. Money.
The ammo will be supplied........because of money.
It is the game called.............."Capitalism".![]()
Ammo was getting hard to get when the supply chain problems hit.Squatchman » 08 Apr 2022, 1:07 am » wrote: ↑ Nope.
The ammo shortage started before Joe took office.
Try again.
I now know why and the GOP had nothing to do with it.
Should have known this.
An AR15 is a .22.
And is easy to convert from .223/5.56 to .22lr
Letting guys train less expensively.
Plus glock started building a .22lr pistol a couple years ago. The G44.
Same size as the 19 and people are using it to train with instead of 9mm.
That coupled with supply chain/pandemic problems is why.
I have a friend that started reloading last year.Masterblaster » 08 Apr 2022, 1:10 am » wrote: ↑ Ammo was getting hard to get when the supply chain problems hit.
I reloaded 30,000 rounds of ammo just because I found a guy that was dying and he left me his bullets and powder. Already had the shells.
If you got the set up you can do the work pretty cheap.Squatchman » 08 Apr 2022, 1:21 am » wrote: ↑ I have a friend that started reloading last year.
I buy factory loads for everything but have been saving brass for a long time.
He's going to load 10mm. for me.
I'm just going to give him my other empty cartridges (9mm. 5.56/.223)since I have quite the inventory of those.
He's going to load full power target loads for me. I'm set on SD.
The equipment isn't really that expensive.Masterblaster » 08 Apr 2022, 2:12 am » wrote: ↑ If you got the set up you can do the work pretty cheap.
Yeah it's kinda boring.Squatchman » 08 Apr 2022, 2:42 am » wrote: ↑ The equipment isn't really that expensive.
It's just getting my lazy *** to do it.
Boring but money saving.
I just needed a bunch of cheap .22 lr because I had several kids shooting with me. They were shooting old tube-fed .22 rifles (bolt action and semi-auto) and a little Cricket .22. The Cricket was the most popular of the bunch.Squatchman » 07 Apr 2022, 9:54 pm » wrote: ↑ I find it weird that .22lr is hard to get.

My 10/22 hates cheap ammo.Skans » 08 Apr 2022, 7:53 am » wrote: ↑ I just needed a bunch of cheap .22 lr because I had several kids shooting with me. They were shooting old tube-fed .22 rifles (bolt action and semi-auto) and a little Cricket .22. The Cricket was the most popular of the bunch.
For now, I've got plenty of cheap 9mm to shoot. I order the stuff 1000 rounds at a time. Same with 5.56. I'm pretty stingy with my .308, though.
I used to have a 10/22 years ago. It ate all of my cheap, non-jacketed ammo, but only as long as I used the factory ruger 10 round mag. YES, you have to clean .22's - they get dirtier than a whore's vagina after only one day of use.Squatchman » 08 Apr 2022, 8:20 am » wrote: ↑ My 10/22 hates cheap ammo.
But then again a good cleaning might help.
I sold my AR 10. Wishing I wouldn't have now in a way.
But yeah I'm well stocked except for 10mm.
Just over 500 rounds for the hammer left.
Especially shooting black bullets it seems.Skans » 08 Apr 2022, 8:26 am » wrote: ↑ I used to have a 10/22 years ago.
