The biggest driver of inflation is oil prices.

The oil company's have no incentive to lower gas prices.

They are making record profits by creating a shortage when it come to supply.

And they use the profits to invest in their stock prices driving the prices up as well.

If contractionary monetary policy is the answer then Biden is primarily a cheerleader being that this done by the Federal Reserve.

I wouldn't know what the GOP is proposing, but what they should be proposing is to reverse everything this administration did in terms of energy policy. When fuel goes down the rest will follow.
