How do we know Americans are "buying ****"?

Companies don't make stuff to just sit in warehouses.  They actually know what they are doing.   Why?  Because they need to actually be profitable to pay overhead expenses and have some incentive to continue.  This is contrary to the "government plan" where central planning, craptastic **** and waste is the order of the day.

Lowering the cost of products to the end consumer reduces the CPI. The CPI is an index that is used to measure inflation by tracking the changes over time in the prices paid by consumers for a basket of goods and services.
