With 1-2% interest rate, instead of a 4.5% rate, the U,S.A. could save a $$TRILLION$$/yr. against the debt, JUST by the lower interest Rate... It looks however that Powell might need to be REPLACED before that happens (if he doesn't come to his senses), BUT THAT will also HAPPEN !!

FIRST, Joe Biden when he was president, passed TRILLIONS in COVID relief funding, LONG AFTER the COVID crisis was OVER, and during which Trump had ALREADY done the same.. The TRILLIONS of ADDED and UNNECESSARY "Joe Biden" funding/spending was PRINTED COMPLETELY out of thin AIR...  AND THAT was the main cause of the SPIKE in inflation under Joe Biden (according to many experts)... and the FED (possibly because they were complicit) THEY want to IGNORE that, and now KEEP interest rates high too long. 

HOWEVER, Trump will NOT be printing money out of thin air... HOWEVER, HE WILL be:

1)  Bringing Critical industry BACK into America ($10 Trillion ALREADY committed) and now with the new BBB passed, The companies have already started relocating !  With that, in the very near, future America's GDP growth that WAS estimated to be 1.5% in the BBB, will be closer to 3.5. 4%... or about $3-4 Trillion/yr. MORE income (not included in the BBB)

2)  Tariff revenues are not included in the BBB... could EXCEED $1-2 trillion/yr.,

3)  Currently the "FED" REFUSES to lower interest rates... during a time when nearly $1Trillion in interest is being PAID every year to service the debt.  If Interest rates would be lowered to 1-2%... HALF TRILLION+ $$$ could be SAVED EVERY YEAR !!

4)  The BLOATED Federal SWAMP,is being DRAINED ... and MANY THOUSANDS, if not MILLIONS, of UN-necessary federal buildings, jobs, and bureaucrats are being eliminated... saving the Government HUNDREDS of Billions of $$$/yr.

5)  DOGE has identified HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of $$$ in waste, fraud, & abuse ALREADY, who know how high that will go... BUT it will certainly save BILLIONS/yr. more !!

SO... ALL together, although the current BBB may be $3.5 Trillion short (and was why some Republicans had issues with it)... There are potentially $7+ Trillion in NEW income that Trump is working on...

During Trumps first term and from other applications of tariffs that have been written about... it's been PROVEN that modest Tariffs are usually absorbed by the manufacturing company, because they do not want to impact market share, OR Drive buyers to OTHER local manufactures... so the EAT the cost !

That has been shown in THIS instance as well....

If poeple go  USA vendors. Nobody pays tariffs and you won't  get your dream of 1 to 2 trillion dollars. It is possible more people will put down the game controllers and got to work and pay tax revenue.  But the oligawks just horde the money and it has zero velocity and sits stagnant in the cooled data center and does nothing to build and staff factories as we mass deport the people who actually do the work.

You seem to think you are some kind of guru.  Your Dunning Kruger Function has you on top of Mt Stupid. 2)  If the level of Tariffs is higher (but fair)... the FOREIGN manufacturers will EAT the tariffs to stay in the American Market, and KEEP making money (that's what USUALLY happens)... and America makes more money from TARIFFS !

3)  If Foreign companies want to bypass tariffs, they can BUILD manufacturing Plants in America, and Pay Taxes... and America makes more money from TAXES !

Answer the question.. Who pays the tariffs? America figured this out on the Smoot Hawley Tariff Act during the Great Depression..  Everybody Smoot Hawley was quickly voted out of office.  Economist agree it prolonged the depression.
