That's rather interesting.  If I had the time to dedicate to running a forum like that, I'd consider it.  I just don't have the time to do it.  @impartialobserver  once expressed some interest I believe.  Why don't those to talk?

Yeah, I thought she did well in that interview as well.  She was composed and articulate.  Granted, most of the questions were softball questions, but I think she could hold her own with a few fastballs thrown her way.  She would debate occasionally on dot-org, and she did alright.

A couple of simple documents would take care of the transfer.  Just have whoever is interested and Kfools sign an NDA so the buyer will know what he's actually getting.  Price?  I'll leave that for whoever is really interested to decide whether its fair or not. Anyone who actually buys it will be concerned that the forum has been down for so long. For someone who is knowledgeable about forum sites, I would think  they could figure this out fairly quickly after taking a quick look under the hood.

If the price was low enough, I would purchase it. Not paying 2k for it. If I was to purchase it, i would bring ad revenue into the game. If it was possible, I would keep it to a minimum and have some sort of way that members opt in and therefore can keep their information locked behind a vault if need be.

If one has ever donated via Paypal then a person would just pay via Paypal to the same end user. Each time I donated, I got an email receipt of it so the username can be found by looking at them.
