well, I really believe in a perfect world.. Women staying home to raise the kids would be great.. We would have better kids.
But this isn't the 50's anymore... no one can afford it..
And there are also smart women that cant be held back.. They want to do things.. I take the middle road. everyone do their own thing.. an extreme one way or the other is not good...

Use the dollars you save on the purchase to use Googles Ad Sense to advertise your site for folks who are searching for political forums. Have a giveaway of $100 worth of Amazon or Starbucks gift cards for new posters for the first three months. Whatever.
Use some of the $3k you're not throwing away to kfools to hire a lawyer and get some advice on contests as well as set up a LLC to run the site under.
Or, pay kfools a lot of money and wind up with an albatross.
