It is surprising to me that those whom want to transition are not seeing a psychologist first.

Another hack: When using plural subjects, folks often flub the form of pronouns. If the two of you went to the store, did you and her go, or did you and she go? Most folks would say that you and her went to the store. But they would NEVER say her went to the store.
So, the hack is this: Simply make two SINGULAR case sentences, then combine them: I went to the store, she went to the store: she and I went to the store. Not me and her - she and I. Not her and you. She and you.

I never rushed anyone and I am in favor of psychological exams to find out the truth.

I would ask about how their friends and family view them as a trans. I would ask if they have other friends that feel the same way they do. If anyone is pushing it on them. Maybe order a brain scan if they insist they are not influenced by outside forces?

If it doesn’t feel right they’ll know. A psychologist can guide them to their true feelings before they do anything rash.
