While I disagree with your definition of liberals, I respect your honesty.
I think we need to take all talk of gender and sexuality out of schools.
It has no place there.
I think all teachers need to be held accountable for trying to mold children's minds either right or left.
That's a parents job.
I also think we should teach real history.
But, I know conservatives don't want the real history of this country taught.
That's perhaps another thread entirely.
you confuse loyalty with honesty or should I say honestly believing nobody knows how biology works evolving in series parallel compounding DNA results present.

Fair enough.  I do, however, note that you do not refute the way I defined the two terms.  But, that's possibly because you realize that would not further the discussion.

I agree to some extent. I think certain activities, like high school dances, proms, homecoming, may still have a place. Also, I think it would be impossible to scrub gender out of books.  Also, dress codes tend to fall along gender lines. Making everything completely gender neutral would be a big mistake, but I do not believe that is what you are suggesting.  I'm just pointing out that on some level this needs to be addressed rationally.

I completely agree. Personal politics have no place in schools at all.
I also think we should teach real history.
Real History, now there's a baited phrase if there ever was one.  In England, some schools still require that their students memorize the English Monarchs. So, what do you define as "Real History"?  Also, how many semesters do you want dedicated to teaching history?  Some folks pursue post-graduate degrees in history focusing on just American Slavery, or the Algonquin Indians, military tactics of Jefferson Davis, or the reign of King Henry VIII.  Limited time.....limited young minds.....trying to keep things neutral, yet cover 1600's to 2022.  That's a tall order, Chief.

Real history.
Not just American history.
World history.
What is appropriate for the age of the child.
My kids' high school history books barely touched on Native Americans (except to say they welcomed us with open arms).
That's at the high school level.
I know there is a limit to what they can cover. I totally get that.
But, we have to be honest about CRT.
That is not being taught in any high schools.
Maybe some areas of it are covered, but the discipline itself is not being taught.
Truthfully, I don't think most parents know what goes on in classrooms day to day.
They hear something bad or outrageous and lose their ****.
Ours is a sheep culture.

In this case, it would be a simple set of supply and demand curves where the equilibrium is the price of your life for your son's. Or, if you believe your life is more valuable than your son's I believe this could also be graphed with a vertical supply curve and a vertical demand curve. But, that's probably not accurate either, more likely it would simply be two independent points in the ++ quadrant of the graph.

Prior to the bit about one's son, your example fits. Paying any price no matter how high in order to keep obtaining positive utility. No diminishing returns either because the good, air, is necessity and therefore you are never counterbalancing desire and resources.

You would have to have two separate demand curves in your situation. The math does not work out for two situations that are opposed to each other.

back to the topic, when class would start i would ask the simplest of questions such as what other options do you have besides sitting in this classroom? This illustrates opportunity cost. The glazed over looks were astounding to me.

Yeah, I must admit this is a far better idea.

But we should sell them only the spare parts we ourselves have a surplus of !

For many body spare parts we have a shortage too, ya know !

They get treated like crap by...well, everyone.
The admin, the parents, the students...the social media warriors.
You couldn't pay me enough to endure that crap.
That is true for the whole western hemisphere !
And no amount of salary will change that !

So how do you expect them to enforce discipline, like once upon a time in the west ?
They'd end up in jail on their first attempt, charged with abuse of a minor !

When I was in school, in my early teens, there was something called  "authority"  that a teacher emanated.
