The news reported last week point out that since August more vaccinated people are dying of Covid than un-vaccinated. The anti-vaxxers are all over it.
The facts are that over 80% of people in the US have been vaccinated.
So let’s see. 80% have been vaccinated and Covid deaths among vaccinated people are 58%. 20% have not been vaccinated but they represent 42% of the new deaths.
58 percent of 80 = 0.725
42 percent of 20 = 2.1
So, given all the variables, including new variants, you are almost 3 times more likely to die of Covid if you have not been vaccinated.
But the GQP right wing anti-vaxxers that bring up these statistics have caused significant more death in their ranks for playing with “statistics.”

Anit vaxxers, QAnoners, and the usual reich wing conspiracy theorists continue to buy into bogus statistics and fuzzy rational in their never ending quest to prove that not only were Covid vaccines ineffective, but, by virtue of their usual **** hocus pocus logic, actually CAUSED more covid deaths than they prevented.

Btw, I'd saved an article back on December 3rd that ran on Yahoo. The headline was, "Reports Claim MAGA Supporter Diamond, Of Diamond And Silk, Allegedly Hospitalized Due To COVID."
Only now, with news of her passing, that article seems to have vanished, and for now, they're staying mum on her cause of death.
If true, and Covid was the cause, then that would be yet another tragic and POSSIBLY avoidable death (yes vaccinated people die too) of a person who bought into right winged anti-vaxxer ideology and/or vaccine MISINFORMATION.
