Liz Cheney Says Republican Leaders Have Enabled White Supremacy
Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney has accused the GOP of enabling white nationalism and white supremacy in the wake of the mass shooting in Buffalo, New York, which has left 10 people dead and three injured.
"The House GOP leadership has enabled white nationalism, white supremacy, and anti-semitism," Cheney wrote on Twitter on Monday.
"History has taught us that what begins with words ends in far worse.

And he got away with it — at least for now. If he manages to win in the runoff, he will provide another proof point for the case that GOP voters can look past the former president's endorsements — both those given and those withdrawn.
"No one has 100 percent influence,” Brooks told NBC News. “There are varying degrees of influence in different parts of the country.”
