I never would have believed in these kinds of things either if I hadn't experienced them myself so many times.  But I've never heard about achieving that kind of mental state with the aid of crystals, and now I'm curious enough to want to learn more.  Are there others you've tried with similar results?  You can probably guess what I'm thinking!  I'd LOVE to try something like that in conjunction with the marijuana, just to see if it reaches even further.

I'm guessing there are far more people that have experienced this kind of phenomenon but knowing how absurd it might sound, they prefer to keep it to themselves.
 

This is a site I have recently discovered.
Some of it is kind of new age, but there is good information about crystals on it.

When I saw the title my first thought was of the movie... lol... it's a nice movie, ancient aliens stuff... they really build the pyramids...

But I saw a documentary about that stuff, remote viewing... the CIA tried that...maybe they still do... I'm not sure if it works, maybe it does, paranormal things happen... but to consciously decide what you want to see and make it happen in real time... like watching Putin planning the invasion of Ukraine with his generals... My last experience was last weekend.
My cat was in my room laying in the closet.
I looked at him and said get out of there.
He disappeared.
I had him put to sleep the week before that.
When I had him put to sleep, I was holding him and petting his head.

I have never encountered a UFO or Sasquatch.

OK, if you want to discuss UFO's, I read a book around 8th grade (I believe) called Incident at Exeter (NH).  It's the story of how Betty and Barney Hill were abducted by aliens in 1961 that was only revealed after they both underwent medical hypnosis, revealing the physical examinations and the ordeal they experienced after being kidnapped and brought aboard their spacecraft.  What convinced me of it authenticity was the revelation that Betty's retelling of her exam  included a test which we now call amniocentisis to determine if she were pregnant, although that was not a test widely used or perfected and practically unheard of in the US prior to the 1970's.  That revelation stuck in my head for years, and led me to read every book I could find on the subject.  I even contacted a division of the US Air Force called Project Blue Book and obtained a booklet and some literature about their work investigating UFO sightings.  I also considered the possibility that the story was not publicized to a greater degree because the couple were of mixed races (him black and her white), something not nearly as common or accepted in 1961, and I thought that hurt their credibility.

I was hopeful that such an anomaly would be revisited and addressed in the future and have to wonder if it was being suppressed, as it never was.

Men Who Stare at Goats was supposedly based on true events.

It was entertaining to watch at least.

I read that the CIA thought the Russians were doing ESP type stuff so they thought they better "keep up".

I was lying on the couch, watching tv and then I suddenly could see myself from above and fly where ever I wanted... it was fun at first but then I got really scared, what if I couldn't get back in my body... and then I was back on the couch... I don't ever want to try that again... lol... ok, I had smoked some herbs but not that much, that didn't cause it...

Me too. I was Skairt.   I practiced for 4 months..
you have to have your head.. facing  due north.

I have had a see myself as a separate entity. I am not sure that this is an "out of body" experience. It could be because of my imagination and being a big fan of movies.

I can't presume that we know all there is to know.
The success rate is too high.
Also, we only started doing this because Russia was doing it to us.

I have heard of them, but I have never really been into that phenomenon.
I had an uncle who swore he saw UFOs.
That book sounds awesome. I will have to check it out.

That's not exactly how it happens.
The remote viewers are given a 'target', and then asked to draw what they see.
It's not like they just close their eyes and see real time events taking place.

The viewer described a scene of two good-looking male technicians supervised by an attractive woman with shoulder-length hair in a green lab coat. She also described an apparent base on the top of Mount Hayes, Alaska, that was run by these aliens who looked like human beings. Throughout her report of the vision, she made it seem as though she believed these aliens could easy come and go from Earth as they pleased.

The viewer also wrote that she saw another alien that was shaped like a human with a long skinny neck, but that its face was totally blank, without any definitive features. She also claimed that she was “invited” to come and see their alien operations, as if she was actually present, or abducted through her mind. The way this vision is described, it sounds much more like a dream, rather than a typical remote viewing observation. She described yet another vision of a robot in South America who was aware of her presence, as well. This is related to DOWSING. Which I was gifted enough to do in 1982 when I lived with my fiance who was gifted and taught me. It takes a strong belief to be able to dowse. I can locate gold nuggets, lost items, detect liars and other things. The ability is not always there for me, your mind must be clear, with no negative thoughts. I use the copper L rods and I also use a pendelum.

Al works hard. she could use a bit of gold.  

My Senior year of Varsity Baseball we were well into the season and nobody had homered yet.
Some of our games were played on fields where homering wasn't feasible because the fences were a mile away.
So one day we got to play an Away Game at A REAL FIELD WITH FENCES that  about 320 down the lines and about 400 to CF.
Before the game I told a team mate that I had a dream about this game and that he hit a Grand Slam.
He rolled his eyes and laughed.
In the first inning I drew a walk to load the bases....my friend came up next and BOOM he hit a Grand Slam.
It was the only HR that any of us  hit that year.
I never made predictions like that so it wasn't a case of "a broken clock being right twice a day".
It was 99.9% likely a psychological boost he got from my vote of confidence....but all these years later it was something I'll never forget.
