Yeah, I saw that and got that.  The question is did YOU pick up on his ideas?  I liked what he said except for a couple of points but could bet behind it anyway.

He's at least pushing for a change.  This is a step in the right direction.  
 

Laws only impact the law abiding. No amount of new restrictions put on law abiding citizens will do anything to address this problem.

I call ****. While her death at the hands of a psychopath is tragic, I don't believe there was so much damage done to the body from shooting that shoes had to be used for an ID...or that a professional medical examiner would use something that could be changed on a victim.

Remember...he is an Oscar winning actor.

You got a couple of examples.  Now you can explain why in Chicago so many of the shootings occur by people under 21 when for them to have the gun is illegal.  And to remove it from your home you have to have a CCP?  If you live in the city of Chicago, you can own firearms. However, you have to meet certain conditions:

• You must be 21 years old or older
• You must possess a firearm owner’s identification card (FOID)
• You must have a concealed carry license if you intend to remove your gun from your home
