The problem of keeping the most vulnerable in places with out any sort of protection from crazy people? What did the sandy hooks shooter use?

There will always be soft targets and plenty of bullets.

The way schools are set up the murderer could have a carried a samurai sword and took as many lives as he did. Why are schools so approachable after so many mass shootings? Why can people with such ill intentions have the capability of being in a school in just minutes ? How come armed security gates aren't at all schools but I have to go through one at work to clock in?

  Is stupid. My mil. spec. AR 15 is a tack driver.
 It's also one of my home defense weapons.
 He has obviously never fired one and is just parroting anti gun rhetoric.

You gotta get real close, but at 7 feet you could stun a cat with it.
