It looks like 100% Tiny.
Never worth wading through.
Are you now acknowledging that the bcg on the DDM4v7 is, in fact, an M16 unit?Huey » 12 Jun 2022, 3:26 pm » wrote: ↑ You just struck thru your answer. You got your answer and rebuttal all in one. Try again.
No full auto or no burst and you do not have a assault weapon designed for the battlefield.
The difference between the two BCGs is the presence of a full auto lug. The bottom portion of the (m16) BCG has a lug that contacts the sear release in a full auto trigger groups and allows the gun to fire in fully automatic. Since a standard AR 15 does not have the trigger components to fire full auto the presence of the full auto lug does not allow a standard AR 15 to fire full auto.
Note the addition. You have your answer and rebuttal to where you are going with this.

No more excuses.
Wait...Huey » 12 Jun 2022, 3:33 pm » wrote: ↑ M16 bolt carrier groups work in both M16s and AR 15s. In fact, an M16 or full auto BCG is the most common form of BCG on the market. First and foremost a full auto rated M16 bolt carrier group cannot make your gun full auto. However, if you are one of the few who legally owns a full auto M16 or converted AR 15 then you must have a full auto BCG to utilize the full auto function.
@Blackvegetable
I never said it wasn’t. But, I have already debunked your point.Blackvegetable » 12 Jun 2022, 3:34 pm » wrote: ↑ Are you now acknowledging that the bcg on the DDM4v7 is, in fact, an M16 unit?
I just did. And posted why. Dude, you just lost.Blackvegetable » 12 Jun 2022, 3:36 pm » wrote: ↑ Wait...
Again.
You never stipulated to the BCG in the DDM4v7...
Will you do so now?
Huey » 12 Jun 2022, 3:37 pm » wrote: ↑ And the coup de grace:
An AR 15 semi auto bolt carrier group does not have that lug. In fact, it’s cut off. This results in a lighter weight BCG and that’s the primary advantage of semi-auto BCGs. At least it was way back before every company out there produced lightweight full auto rated BCGs.
@Blackvegetable
What have you learned? You learned that a full auto BCG does not make an AR 15 full auto,
And you learned that the original AR 15 had a different BCG than the Stoner Design.
I told you that years ago but you didn’t listen. Now you are just embarrassing yourself.
You lost. Strike thru does not erase that fact. You wont even specify what AR 15 you are talking about.Blackvegetable » 12 Jun 2022, 3:47 pm » wrote: ↑ Now let's get back to what I've said.
I've said that the AR 15 rifle was designed for a specific, entirely non-civilian, purpose.
Though some people slap AR15 on anything, it technically refers to any firearm based on the AR 15 DESIGN.
To further the disassociation from civilian use, the platform is designed to use a SPECIFIC round, maximizing its military function. In fact, the round is even so labeled.
There is no discreet DESIGN for semi auto AR 15 style firearms, they use the Stoner design, with certain modifications.
This constitutes a VARIANT, NOT a DESIGN.
You've argued that the M4 is not based on the AR15. This is comically uninformed as the M4 is a variant of the M16.
Period. End of story.
Nod.
no need. He was just thoroughly curbstomped.
Do you have a dick in your ear?
Only in the retelling.
And you just lost twice.Huey » 12 Jun 2022, 3:51 pm » wrote: ↑ You lost. Strike thru does not erase that fact. You wont even specify what AR 15 you are talking about.
I said the DDM4 was not based on the M16.
No deflections, dick sucker.
Then you shouldn't be saying so many **** stupid things.Huey » 12 Jun 2022, 3:48 pm » wrote: ↑ @Blackvegetable
Just to remind you I was a unit armorer, range NCO, and firearms instructor. You ? Not so much. I know what makes an assault rifle an assault rifle.
Ah, nope. I got the schoolin’ and ‘sperience you don’t. While you here getting high as a Wall Street office boy I was getting edumacted on real assault weapons.
