I have posted numerous times that class 3 automatic weapons like the m16 are classified as machine guns by the government.

You have to specify which Armalite Rifle  15 you are talking about.  You have to specify if you are talking about the AR 15 that became the Colt 601 and designated the M16 or the COLT AR 15 that was specifically designed and marketed to civilians and law enforcement.

That is a distinction that your blinders prevent you from seeing.
