As I see it the people behind the insurrection, in the middle of the insurrection and all over the insurrection have demonstrated a good deal of stupidity. All became so in love with themselves they actually thought getting away with it was a no brainer.

Notice how quick law enforcement began rounding them up.........notice how many displayed themselves to the many cameras now that is stupid.

It's called PRIVILEGE, Razoo. They all were certain there'd be NO CONSEQUENCES because of who they were. Some even said as much out loud. And in a way they weren't far off the mark because most of them received what amounted to slaps on the wrists, or probation, or no charge at ALL.

MEANWHILE, OF NO SURPRISE:

Inspector General says Secret Service reportedly erased all text messages sent Jan. 5 and Jan. 6

According to the Office of Inspector General Department of Homeland Security (OIG), the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) erased “text messages, from January 5 and 6, 2021.” 

The letter originally sent to the House and Senate Homeland Security Committees by the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General states that the messages were erased during what the USSS called  “a device-replacement program.

”Whether or not this is above board becomes even more questionable, according to OIG’s letter, when you consider that those erased text messages were “after OIG requested records of electronic communications from the USSS, as part of our evaluation of events at the Capitol on January 6.”

On top of this, the letter reports that OIG inspectors have been stonewalled in their requests for “records of electronic communications” by the USSS.

Some of MY takeaways after watching the details of Thursday's J6 prime time hearing:

1. These "tourists" engaged in "legitimate political discourse" were ARMED, and ORGANIZED.
2. These "unarmed patriots" had placed not ONE BUT TWO PIPE BOMBS IN ADJACENT BUILDINGS
3. The targeting of Mike Pence came about in real time, by word passed among the rioters by individuals (TRUMP OPERATIVES?) among the crowd.
4. Trump's Mike Pence tweet as they stormed the building was no coincidence
5. Pence's secret service apparently had GOOD reason to fear for their lives as they dashed off frantic "goodbye" calls to their loved ones
6. Trump deliberately DID NOTHING, CALLED NO ONE, AND IGNORED ALL URGING HIM TO ACT.
7. Trump undoubtedly expected, probably HOPED for a bloodbath. A tragedy of such proportions as to completely stall the order of business that day, and possibly give him an excuse to declare MARTIAL LAW.
