Second Amendment is from 1789. Thus the second amendment only applies to Muskets.

Who said I have any toys? Not a topic I would recommend anyone discuss on the internet unless they want to show up on data mined lists. Were you sleeping through Snowden?

OF COURSE..!
Something else that gets swept under the carpet is that Brown People [Hispanics] are roughly twice as likely to commit murder and a gun crime than  CAUCASIANS..yet for some unknown reason Brown People Are Lumped in with White People in the DOJ CRIME REPORT. Image
Obviously to make WHITE CRIME look worse than it really is.
Just another example of how dishonest and deceptive our Public Information System has become.
Interesting. When they commit crimes, they're considered white, but when they line up for government benefits, special protections and other considerations, they are considered non-white. What a great scam.

On a par with insisting on protecting women while insisting there is no such thing as a woman - that anything and anyone can simply "become" one, by a mere declaration.

They would wonder at our fundamental lack of character, and our refusal to take the appropriate steps to provide for security for our schools.  They would be sick at heart to see so many Americans abdicating their rights and freedoms in hopes of being made "safer" as someone else protected them... because they refuse to take responsibility for protecting themselves and their own kids.

I'm old enough to remember when kids were taught how to responsibly coexist with firearms, and kids would bring rifles to school for the purpose of hunting small game for the family stewpot on the way home after school.  There was a school rifle team.  Guns were prevalent... and there were no mass school shootings.

Benjamin Franklin spoke of trading liberty for security, and the consequences of doing so... but we're doing it anyway.

I might have mentioned this before, and if I did I apologize for repeating myself to you.

In 2004, a school in Beslan, Russia was attacked by extremists.  Over 300 people - and 186 children - died during that siege.  Before the fires had stopped smoldering, an international team of experts descended on the site to study what had happened and to figure out how to prevent it from happening again.  They put together a laundry list of recommendations for schools to improve security and protect the kids.

To date, NONE of those recommendations have been enacted in American schools.  In fact, American educators have actively fought to block them from being implemented.  Why?  Because gun control was not one of the recommendations (Russia already had that in 2004), and it required school staff to take an active role in contributing to the school security procedures.

In the end, we need to harden school perimeters.  We need proper security personnel patrolling school grounds, dressed in normal plainclothes so they blend in with the staff.  Extensive security surveillance systems can be installed with modern cameras that are essentially invisible to casual observations.  And a rapid response security team ready to respond to threats the moment they are identified.  THAT is how you save lives.

Look imbecile  . . .  the Constitution doesn't name any specific gun  BECAUSE  the Founding Fathers took into account that technology would be bringing forth new, more sophisticated guns !

That is why the Second Amendment covers  ALL  guns !
