For what "civilian" purpose can an Assault Rifle be used?

Correct, we can't legislate our way to safety from crazed or determined criminals. We could make common sense reforms but many such regulations are already in place. There are background checks at gun shows. Straw buyers are illegal. Automatic weapons require a special license from the ATF. We have more laws and regulations in place than ammophobic people realize, I don't believe these restrictions have saved many lives, don't believe additional restrictions will save lives either. Legislation and restriction isn't the answer to this problem.

The ammo is designed to render flesh inedible.

It isn't effective for "home defense"Huey » 17 Jun 2022, 9:33 am » wrote: ↑ Reposted one for you. I guess you have given up on the topic on this thread.
People use AR 15 style weapons for hunting, competition shooting target shooting and home defense. Not sure how effective thatbis for home defense but they do.
Your other talking point statements aside can you provide a link where it is not designed for accuracy?Blackvegetable » 17 Jun 2022, 9:40 am » wrote: ↑ It isn't effective for "home defense"
It is SPECIFICALLY developed to compensate for human inability.
It is NOT designed for accuracy.
It has NO civilian "purpose".
It is available exclusively because arms manufacturers want more unit sales.
Maybe. But you don’t understand what you are reading.
