Ideologies are invented, villages are constructed to house like minded people sharing space helping one another adapt with being eternally separated now and won't admit it ever to keep everyone guessing which side is more important to humanity.Skans » 21 Jun 2022, 12:32 pm » wrote: ↑ The Villages were invented. The guys I cut firewood with are old bastards and don't even wear hearing protection.
Chainsaws, log splitters, moving equipment... It's loud for an extended period of time.
The EXACT conditions which cause deafness.
They don't laugh at my ear plugs though.
Hell, the best reason to wear a motorcycle helmet is to protect your hearing.
Prolonged high decibels will do your hearing in.

Last time I hurt myself with a pistol was slamming a magazine home and I pinched up a blood blister betwixt the bottom cap of the mag and the butt.
Last time I hurt myself with a chainsaw was an accidental nick in the end of my finger as I reached up to grab a file while sharpening.
I hear these things are super dangerous...
I am confident . . . that I can hurt myself with this stuff.sootedupCyndi » 21 Jun 2022, 1:10 pm » wrote: ↑ I found this tool ... the worlds smallest chainsaw.. watched you tube vids.

No. That looks like a pretty cool movie, though. I recall, the one with Gidget in it was valley of the dolls. Or, maybe it wasn't Gidget, but some other teenage girl actress. F-ing awful movie which I couldn't stand watching for more than about 15 minutes.omh » 21 Jun 2022, 1:03 pm » wrote: ↑ Gee movie must have been about white supremacy from extraterrestrial farming human DNA.
