Also, It's not like they had refrigeration in Galilee.  How long would grape juice last there without refrigeration?  It's going to turn into wine whether you like it or not. It was probably more like a very sweet, rotten grape juice rather than what we call "wine".

I haven't smoked weed since I was a teenager - but I would never presume to decide for others. ANYTHING can be abused. Guns, for instance. But men of sense look to the ABUSER, not to the thing abused, when assigning blame. Prohibitionists are no different than gun grabbers - they just get all wet in the ****** over a different issue.

Cannabinoids have medicinal value - I wouldn't deny that.  I think it is way overused medically, and people use dispensaries just to get high.
Demonizing the inanimate is for the intellectully indolent. I have observed a tendency toward intellectual indolence in you.
I see a trend, one which I find very alarming.  I see more and more people enjoying using chemicals to get high.  Right now, Fentanyl and Meth are probably some of the most addictive substances that I know of.  The chemists will come up with drugs that are far more addictive than these.  It is inevitable. We are seeing Fentanyl laced gummies, pot, etc. There is a push to get Americans addicted on substances they can't get off of. This will get worse and worse until there is no turning back.

So, either you are like me, make a concerted effort to live chemically free, and raise your children to be as chemical free as possible, or your lineage is doomed to the addictive substances that will be soon coming down the pike. If you dabble in drugs, your kids will dabble even more.  Their kids that much more.  When you abstain from drugs, its that much easier to lead your children and family to pursuing real life adventures over chemically induced or gaming highs. Yeah, I do draw that bright line in the sand.

Yes, people abuse guns, weed, booze, authority - even their own genitals.

Should we outlaw everything that can be abused?

That push is furthered by prohibition, which puts the criminals in charge of regulting who can buy it, at what price, at what purity, when and where, under what conditions...

Criminals will deal in schools. Criminals will give free smples, use peer pressure.

That's right.  I'm not voting for anyone who wants to legalize drugs.  You sound like a typical doper who can't write worth a ****, but supports any candidate who will give you "FREE DRUGS", cuz you likes gett'n high.

No.  Guns serve a much greater purpose. I do think that as a society we have a right to keep people off of addictive drugs, and to punish those who seek to get our citizens addicted. Otherwise, we're screwed.  The Chemists will get better and better at making drugs more addictive. You have to see that.

The only way I'd agree to legalize drugs, and I've said this before, is if
  • they receive no social services, welfare, medical assistance, etc.
  • they not be allowed to **** up public places
  • if they commit crimes, they are swiftly executed
  • basically, they are left to rot in their own drugs and filth until they die.
Liberals don't have the stomach for this.  I do.  Do you?

...'legalize' is a term used by stoooooooooooopid f@cks such as yourself... decent, intelligent people want (((((REPEAL))))) of all 'laws' that abrogate the natural, unalienable rights and responsibilities of people to grow plants and use them as they see fit, to consume what they choose, etc... you are obviously a typical stooooopid f@ck republican-level authoritardian who whines about 'big government', taxes, corruption, etc.... problems your stooooopid f@ck 'ideas' cause...word..  Image

Sure.  Learn to write intelligently, and I might carry on a conversation with you on this topic.  But, for now, I tire of your idiocy.

When has there been a worse president?
We can't even give this decrepit piece of **** credit for a "learning curve" as afforded to Bammy.
This asshole already has experience, connections, been a heart beat away from the very job he's in.

At what point will his approval zoom up?
Of course it cannot...
Even if a crisis comes along, he'll blame the wrong thing and grind the **** into America's face.

Ostrich Pox, amphibious landing by Zulus, Kurt Vonnegut Jr's death, etc.
All Trump's fault and half of America too...

Rarely does anyone smoke marijuana the way they smoke tobacco.
The main difference is that marijuana affects the body in noticeable ways that many people find pleasant, while all tobacco does is make the smoker cough a lot.

I don't  think inhaling smoke is at all healthy, but humans have been using fire to cook with for at least 20000 years, and therefore have probably developed a certain tolerance for smoke that meercats and wombats have not.

Actually the Bible says give strong drink to those about to die and wine to the poor, Strong Drink is an Opium infused wine, wine is fermented fruit juice.

Interesting is the reason the Bible says to give wine to the poor is so that the poor can drink and forget their poverty.

At the beginning of Game of Thrones the Queen gave the Opium infused wine to the King when he went boar hunting, and a boar got him.
