Lake mead is so low they are worried about the Critical point in Which the Hoover Dam can not produce Electricity OR send Water down Stream.

I live out here. I have seen this poor lake drop over the decades. This is no drought, a drought is temporary. This has been going on since 1983. I don't see our government worrying about it as much as they should. If we are going to be out of water within 5 years, then they have an obligation to be 100% transparent with us. Should people move? Is it wise to start a business here when in  years there may be no water? Is it wise to move here? Etc...these are important questions. Only 100% transparency can answer these questions.

I agree, but only if the the profit is not hoarded by  the DC elite and their lobbies.  

The profit should be divided:

50% among the states(1% each);
10% paid directly to all adult citizens;
25% given to the state that sourced the oil;
 5% to the state that refined the oil;
10% to the federal government

Obama was able to give ever American $300, not just voters, but Ever American, SOmething to do with COntrolling the Budget.

Where did Obama get the money to give every american $300?  Does he carry that kind of cash in his wallet?

I read several years back that the region has historically(for thousands of years) been arid, and the rain in more recent history should be considered temporary.

We get the water from non-arid lands in the Rockies, mostly. It's just routed to here.

If I remember correctly it was from a Budget Surplus, Obama said lets give the surplus back to the people.

The Oil Companies are not following suit with the Price of Oil to the price of Gas, they are selling Gas as if Oil was $300 a barrel, but Biden and other world leaders actual brought the price of oil DOwn.

I thought the important thing was how much you have to pay at the pump for gas, Saudi Arabia has very cheap gas.
